He has 0 chance of winning either of those states anyway.

It's hard to overstate how poorly Rand did in the first debate. He really needs to turn it around in the CNN debate, even though he will probably only get about five minutes to speak.

Yeah he has not made much newsworthy pot stirring noise....he needs to step it up and not let up....maybe he thinks this is Daytona and can run at the back of the pack till the end.....

Rand needs to announce an attack on ISIS, or something drastic in foreign policy. This sux guys. Even Chris Matthews said months ago Rand would win the GOP primary... and now he is at 0 percent. There must be a force working against us, bigger then we've ever seen before.

Rand should pick a VP, as Reagan did in 1976. it would get him media before the debate. someone very aggressive and media ready.

yes-Rand has no chance in FL or GA, but what winner take all state can he take?

Yes it is always easy to say that Rand needs to do something and that something needs to work. Not as easy to make it reality.

Trump and Carson are making it look easy. they are spending nothing, saying nothing, and going up and up.

Creating a coalition of ideologically opposed voters and gaining the largest amount of votes in a primary is easier said then done. That being said though Rand has been playing tug of war with his campaign since the beginning. He hasn't embraced his ID, he has steered off course but that doesn't mean that he can't correct(and not over correct) and win this. He can either be a different kind of republican or he can be a republican. He can't be both at the same time, and this is what doesn't resonate with people. He has spent the last 4 years playing ball with his team, being a team player. The public doesn't want a team player they want someone that will bite the hand that feeds.

Rand needs to shelve the civil liberty issues for now as he's already got a major track record on them that he can point back to when needed. From now on, it has to always be fiscal conservatism so he can re-up his numbers in the GOP primary and remake a name for himself in this otherwise fraud field of conservatives, from a fiscal perspective. His team should know this by now and I'm starting to question their moves at this point. This low in the polls is unacceptable for an (or true blue) anti-establishment candidate. Also, poor mojo going into a moneybomb. Being a little bolder on immigration or reinforcing what his original position is in words that sell red meat would help as well. No Trumpers are gonna go our way unless Rand gets more bolder and lets the civil issues fall to the side for a while. They aren't concerned about privacy issues when financials and jobs are perceivingly at stake.

Seems that former Ron supporters would rather vote for Trump, Cruz, or Carson, or not vote at all, than vote for Rand. Truly disappointing. And frustrating, because any major moves that Rand makes at this point would be painted as just acts of desperation. But as long as Rand has money he'll still be in the race, and these races can turn on a dime, so don't give up

You realise those are Internet "polls" you can vote multiple times, Rand could have had 5% and a trumpbot could have spammed him down to 0%

Can't say I disagree. When it comes to the primary "it is the economy stupid." Carville wasn't a dumbass.

Where are you getting that these were internet polls? I can't find anything about the polling methodology, other than that they were both conducted by Opinion Savvy, which is a relatively unknown polling company without much of a track record. But 0% isn't that far from the 2-4% he had been getting in other recent polls on those two states.

Why stop on an attack on ISIS? Why not drop nukes on both them and Iran?

I call bullshit! You mean to tell me as big as the Ron Paul meetup crowd was in Orlando Rand is polling 0%? Lol..

The last time when they did this to Ron this kind of thing fired up the grassroots because they knew better, but last time there was no Trump in the field to put the wool over peoples eyes and simply accept it because this time everyone is just like well it just must be that swell feller Donald Trump taking all of Paul's support so it must be real. Once again BULLSHIT!!

No no no no no

Rand needs to emphasize his fiscal message. He needs to sound a bit "conservative" on immigration, but not like a xenophobic fascist. Say that the Iran deal sucks, but don't go full neocon.
