Well I never expected the national RNC to be throwing funds toward the movement to begin with, unless it took it over that, too.
I just figured taking the state level positions gave a network as well as means to raise more funds for liberty candidates. Particularly in general election-safe red areas.
It's not like we aren't on the bottom already with nowhere to go but up at moment anyway. At this point, if they can manage raise a lopsided sum of funds for like single targeted bids per year it's a bonus.
Naturally the establishment GOP isn't going to be forking over loads of monies to fund people that aren't their own. I could care less, they're already against us. That is recognized.
All I care about, is that they can moneyflood and flip target primary races into wins, and that the establishment's little votey minions are going to vote in the general election, for sake of the magical letter beside the name of whoever wins the party primary.
After some wins, they'd recognize it was a strategy worth leaving alone to it's devices. Hell the average voter usually doesn't care if the incumbent eats children, so long as he's got the magical letter. It takes an advantage of money to dig them out; they're like ticks.
That all might take time though, which is why it worries me when Ron Paul folks get all pissy when the party is dickish to them at conventions. They'd have to come back again, or they'd slip back in and just take it all back over.
My line of thinking anyway.
