Rachel Maddow slams Obama!

This issue has caused a DEEP division in Obama's supporters from what I can tell.

Here's two examples of the ones that are waking up to the reality of the Obama administration, that neo-con and neo-liberal are the same thing...neo-fascist.

Supporting Indefinite detention, defending bush era policies in court, extrajudicial drone killings of hundreds of civilians in afghanistan and pakistan, reviving bush' kangaroo court system, advocating preventive detention, hiring out the pakistani army to kill its own civilians and forcing 1 million people to become refugees overnight, hiring all the wall street insiders to run the fed/treasury, etc, etc. And you say he's trying to do the right thing? He's just putting a new coat of paint on the empire, and the fumes seem to be affecting lots of people around here.

In response to the old "where was Ratner when Bush was in office?" i.e. libertarians and critics are Republicans, racist or both:

Man you people are dumb. They were doing the same thing to Bush! This guy Ratner is on our side you fools! You're all so worried about your money that you don't care about holding people that committed war crimes in OUR (mines and yours) names and who shredded our Constitution accountable! The reason Obama gave his speech in front of a copy of the Constitution is to give the illusion that he has somehow repaired it. But it's still in shambles. The next GOP President will have nothing to fear when he decides to start torturing, preemptively invading, spying on Americans, and outing CIA agents again. Why would he? He/Palin will say about everything Obama said and did, "Let's look ahead and not to the past." Drop the kool-aid for a second folks. You look like Bushies.

There are those who are citing Maddow as telling the truth, and there are the blind devotees that still say "Obama knows what he's doing"...in other words, their fascism is showing.

I just threw up in my mouth.

We HAVE to impeach this motherfucker.

Amazing doublespeak isnt it?

He runs up a 1.8 trillion dollar deficit, then holds a "fiscal responsibility" summit.

He slams CEO's for taking trips to Vegas, then takes about 20 Air Force One trips to such essential functions as the Jay Leno show and Valentine's day dinner in Chicago (not to mention the $300,000 "photo op" over the statue of Liberty.

He tells us to put air in our tires to fight "global warming", while expending tons of diesel fuel on his Air Force 1 joy rides.

He slams Bush over violating the Bill of Rights, and then proposes to extend those violations indefinitely.

Wow! I almost miss Bush now!

Wow

I am not at all surprised that Obama does not believe in the rule of law, though he says it nominally. After all, the rule of law is immutable as a necessity in civics, which Obama obviously has no clue about. He can't even honor the Constitution, and he wants to speak on the rule of law?!

I think Rachel Maddow is beginning to see what many of us Ron Paul supporters have seen for several years now. The Republicans and the Democrats are pretty much the same party, with different faces in authority. Kudos to Maddow for her openness in criticizing Obama's foreign policy. Long live "Precrime" (just kidding).

Maybe she is trying to assuage the guilt of her complicity in shilling for this sorry sac.

I respect Rachel greatly. It seems almost every day she is calling out Obama on something, including military commissions, torture photos, state secrets, non-prosecution of the bush administration, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

This will pass, the majority will do nothing. This apparatus will be used against us in due time. Welcome to the New World Order.

Sounds like Obama has been hanging out with Alan Dershowitz...

(Dershowitz advocated legalizing torture. Wrote a whole book about it filled with doublespeak and twisted logic).

[If I wasn't married] I'd hit it in a minute. And she seems to be more intellectually honest than most libs.

Wow, Rachel is really impressing me with her reporting.

This was a great segment that will hopefully get wake up some Obamabots

We should email her and encourage her to keeping the prez accountable.

Gosh...now I'm having second thoughts about satirizing Maddow! I think I'll leave it in the first draft, and you all can tell me how I can do it better.

HB34.
