Question on My Donation ?

I donated about 2 hours ago (right around the 500K mark)

I never did see my name on the website and I don't have a confirmation email yet.

I got the confirmation page after I sit submit though.

Is this normal ? I donated last quarter and it seemed just about instant.

Did you check your spam? Try donating $1 and make sure you type your e-mail right, and see if it shows up. Maybe you made a typo in your e-mail. Of course, there is always the tiny chance that something broke in the payment script and you didn't get your e-mail. If you donated through Paypal, your payment has 100% gone through, Paypal won't let it mess up because they get some money from every transaction.

It's probably glitchy because of the amount of donations that came in all at once. Stuff happens.

I didn't get my confirmation either and at least one other RPF members didn't as well. Seems to be some glitch. I did see my name on screen, but briefly. Names were flying by fast

I never get confirmation emails, but my bank statements reflect the donations, so at least RP is getting the money.

Given the mass amount of donations in that time frame... I'd say whatever server they have sending emails is backed up / down.

Yeah, me too and I called about it about 6 their time. I got Justine. She said the donations were coming in so fast around that time that some people's names were getting slammed and so they didn't show up on the meter screen. Because of that, they're going to increase the names shown, from the last 5, to the last 10. I also haven't gotten a confirmation email yet. But, she checked and the payment went through. The emails will come. Hang in there. This is a GOOD problem.
