Question for small amount of money

Homah it all depends on what sports ya bet on and so forth, I not charging a "fee promising" millions I'm just stated the facts that I'm usually on average 70% accurate my problem is that I enjoy parlays way to much LOL , I only play with a small bankroll but I can honestly say that when I take my time handicapping soccer especially ,It always helps me pay for things be it PM's clothes pub snacks or electronics. I only suggested finding something to help handicap the pm spot price if someone knows a better easier way then handicapping sports Thats fine aswell. I never told anyone that doing sports capping will make them filthy Rich in 24 hours I'm just suggested a method where you can cut back on your purchases if ya take some time and handicapp some games. And in champions league soccer I nailed 10 out of 10 games , I bet small ,but say I did put 20$ or even $100 on a 10 game parlay I would of nailed over 30K, anything Is possible if ya got the guts for it . I play for fun and use small bets to do help cover some of the cost of things but who's to say that someone cant get "Rich" from it people can and Have , and you don't even need to be 50% accurate all ya need is one big upset to happen which in soccer happens alot.

Anyway what sports do you cap ? Do ya play parlays or just play conservative single bets? I love hockey,NFL and even the old college games but what brings me bread and lots of Butter is EPL,Laliga,Serie a and ligue 1 even. If I just stuck to soccer and NFL "Keys" I would of done very well but ya know how it is ya like to sprinkle some action on NHL and College bucket and oops there goes that lucrative parlay LOL !!!

Anyway great to know there is some cappers on these forums BOL buddy and "may the winners be yours"
Where can I learn about sports betting?

Well there's is lots of places with tips . But I'd suggest focusing on "one sport" for your bread and butter and they have some fun doing other crazy bets. I just mainly focus on soccer since I find it the most easiest for me and I just find out what the oddsmakers are giving and try and find a few value games . In soccer value games are much easier to find in my opinion since draws happen alot in soccer games and pay nice .

Bigtip.org is a Canadian run site but has a lot of members with amazing wisdom. I have learned a great amount from others mistakes and victories. The one thing I have found out is "don't be greedy" if you can make a $2 wager turn into $6 quite east don't get greedy and try to add more games on your parlay or up the wagers before you have made a decent profit first. Nothing is 100% just like anything in life but if you find a good edge and a way to hedge bets you should be able to do okay. Sometimes you can even bet Arbitrage type betting if your eyes are open and find two very different oddsmakers and capitalize on that.

Yes I play poker and other table games in Atlantic City. I learned this lesson last night. I had a good night and was up about $400. Right before I left I decided to make a $100 bet on the roulette table. It was a stupid idea, and something I have never done before. I just figured since it was "house money" what the hell.

Greed is every gamblers worst enemy.

Ohhh shoot but he'll aslong as ya learn from those mistakes. Did u put 100 on the "Red Black" attack?

Stocks are gambling. Betting is gambling. Gold is gambling. Can you afford to lose the money you put into these things in the next few years? With stocks or gold you may be able to hold onto your money if prices of those assetts fall by keeping the assets over time- just maybe not in a short time frame. If you bought gold in 1980 you still don't have your money back allowing for inflation and that is nearly 30 years later. If you bought stocks prior to the great depression, their values did not return to those levels until 1954 (and that is not allowing for inflation). If you lost money on poker or sports betting, the only way you can get that back is to risk more money. It comes down to how much can you afford to lose now and can you wait a long time (if necesssary) to realize returns on your money. I have stocks because I do not need to get that money for quite a while and can ride out (hopefully) this current decline. I also own a few ounces of gold which are still not worth what I paid for them.

Well my weekend POD is Man United over Fulham in the FA cup and my Value play Is Tottenham Hotspurs .

I also like Everton,Fiorentino and StRennes to all win.

Feel free to post your POD and other picks aswell guys .

Hey all, just looking for some input here..

My nephew is starting college next fall and has i think he said $9000 or $10,000 in the bank from savings/employment. He asked me how much of that he should turn into gold/silver and I wasn't sure what a good number would be.

Any thoughts? Half of that? Most of it? Definitely not all so he has some spending money available...

If he doesn't need the money for a year or two, turn it ALL in.

Only buy gold and silver for money you're setting aside and not using.

This means, you need to pay bills, have emergency funds, no debt, then think about "parking" your money, there is no percentage or amount that fits all.

$10,000 is NOT a small amount of money, it's the difference between having a brand new car and not, it's a down payment on a $100,000 house.

Hope you guys played my POD (pick of the day) Man United , I survived some parlays by keying them . Almost nailed some good profits but Roma and Spurs did me in LOL , Oh well I gotta just stick to my conservative pick of the days .
