Question about Senate District and Redistricting (Harris Co.)

I hadn't received my new voter card so I emailed the tax office about it and this was the response.

New Voter Registration Certificates have not been mailed out. The new deadline to mail out voter registration certificates is April 25, 2012. Please note that certificates expire on December 31 of every odd numbered year. Registrations do not expire.

Due to the recent pending litigation, we have not updated our website with the new certificate color (yellow) or current cycle dates (listed as Valid from and thru); as the precinct numbers are subject to change.

It is possible that you will have a new precinct number. We will be resolving any new split precincts by district. Additional precinct splits will result in a new precinct. March 20, 2012 is the current deadline in which county election precinct lines may change.

Is it possible our precincts WILL still change?

Select Plan > Base Plan > PLANS172 - COURT-ORDERED INTERIM SENATE PLAN

Then check the precincts button.

my precinct changed, big time. but Bexar county is using the old ones since the new ones are not approved yet.
