Yeah that's what I think too. He didn't make the cut, so there's not much to complain about.

Even unannounced candidates Michele Bachmann and Rick Santorum were invited and show me the poll where Rick Santorum has out-polled Gary.

That is exactly why it is Bullshit. What's the point of standards if you can pick and choose when to follow them in such a forum?

Same old shit. They're going to do the exact same thing to Ron Paul in a few months. And they'll cite Ron Paul Supporters as having been supportive of the decision to exclude Gary when they do. I wouldn't vote for Gary, but as a matter of principle (especially considering the thousands of phone calls the grassroots made to FOX NEWS when they excluded Ron from the Fox Forum Debate) I think he at least deserves a chair.

Gary may have torpedoed an invite here, by complaining about unfair time allotment at the last debate.

Would Romney or Gingrich, et al, have likewise torpedoed their invite had they complained? NO, it's another example of "use any excuse we can throw out" to exclude even a quasi libertarian candidate.

Gary should not be invited but neither should anyone else who is not making the polling threshold.

If Gary hadn't announced in his press release he was the ONLY candidate for individual liberty, then this might register on my give-a-shit meter

Gary Johnson is our ally. His inclusion in a debate only serves to strengthen Ron and strengthen our position. Whatever happens, I want to see him included as much as possible.

Agreed/ I dream of a day when everyone on stage speaks like Ron and Gary at Republican Presidential debates. Let the war hawks and authoritarians be in the minority so they can rightfully wear the tag of fringe.

His being in the race has meant daily articles saying he is more 'electable' than Ron and claiming Ron has 'baggage' etc. It sure didn't come across like an ally until they wanted people to call to have him in a debate, from my point of view.

I wrote this fool off the second I learned he was for Guantanamo Bay and the tortures.
