Q1 Fundraising: Rohrer $156K, Scaringi $10K

Rohrer has alot of support here. Signs all over the place. I think he'll easily take this part of District 10. I also got 3 robo calls from Sam in the last week. No other ones.

That's some good news. However, I've never seen any ads for him. Tom Smith is running stuff all the time.

I'm seeing Rohrer signs all over the place in the southeast as well. I still don't know if I'll vote for him or not. I probably wont.

Sometimes, and this may be the case or not, if internal polling shows a candidate with a strong lead in an area they'll move the ad money elsewhere or bank it for the general

If you want a liberty candidate that has a chance of winning, vote for Rohrer.

If you want to stay ideologically pure and you don't care about winning, but making a statement, vote for Scaringi.

I'd say that's what this is coming down to. Personally, I think I've decided on Rohrer. I don't find I have to sacrifice any principles to vote for him. While he has made some statements trying to garner a broader base of support, I think I know where he stands. He's a liberty candidate. But he's palatable to the mainstream republicans. Which means, he can actually do something.

The palatability is a good observation. We're getting ahead of ourselves but if Sam is able to win the primary and general, he could very well be a model for how other libertarian conservatives can win office.
