Degrees in economics are degrees in bullshit. All that is taught out there is lame Keynesianism fantasy economics. I would have more respect for the guy if he said "No, I have real world experience and don't subscribe to the nonsense theory they are teaching in schools these days."

THats not always true. When i was in school 75% of my professors were free market guys and only 25% of my professors were Keynesian. So i guess it really depends which area of the country , school and department you end up in.

True for the most part. The big exceptions are the University of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania, University of Rochester, and University of Minnesota. Those are the four major econ departments in the country that don't teach Keynesianism.

Shouldnt Stanford be included in this too? They arnt keynesian either.

Stanford does have a good and famous economics department. I love watching alot of the economics based videos they post on the youtube page of the hoover institute.
