My analysis was offered in rebuttal to your earlier claim that "[Snowden] is burying his own story" (by travelling).

I argued that he was doing no such thing. In doing so, I emphasized that the press was certainly burying Snowden's revelations in favor of his travels.

But I never said that it was "just the media" that was doing this. I said it was not Snowden who was doing this - and that he cannot reasonably be characterized as being responsible for it.

I've assiduously avoided the MSM talking points on this topic, so could someone help me explain their "logic"? Do I understand correctly that these folks are trying to sell the storyline that Snowden somehow did damage to the American people vis-a-vis the US government by revealing to those American people that the US government is spying on them? Or am I reading this through the wrong end of the binoculars? Either the MSM or the American people - or both - are incredibly stupid.
