Putin: United States Pinning Hacks on Russia Is 'Like Anti-Semitism'

“[The Democrats] made a mistake, and they don't want to recognize this mistake right now,” he said through a translator. “They are not wise enough. It's easy to say 'It's not our fault. It's all the Russians. They intervened, they interfered. It's like anti-Semitism! 'The Jews are to blame! You're an idiot, 'cause the Jews are to blame,' right?” He added that “such moods lead to...nothing good.”
There was no further elaboration on that point. The most logical interpretation is that Putin is arguing that Russia has become a scapegoat in the same way that Jews are often scapegoated in anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. He did not give other examples, though.
