Put your worries aside...

Ron Paul will do fine today. He will beat his Iowa numbers in both % and place. He has the chance to continue to improve throughout this campaign, with each vote, as we work to get his name and issues out there with each passing day.

In 1 month we will have super duper Tuesday and by that time thousands more will know and vote for Ron Paul.

He will no doubt end up with more than 10% of the vote nationally.

If he does not win the Gop, all hope is not lost! Next step will be to look at an independent run.

If he runs indy and gets shut out of every debate and still gets 10% of the vote, we have WON!

This movement does not end with Ron Paul no matter what happens!
We're in it for the long haul and elections are just the first step.

Next up will be mass civil disobedience, whether it's ron paul or someone else in the white house.

Don't worry about one state or even one election. We will win this war, I have no doubt!

RP said he will not run independant/3rd party.

I would believe that if he weren't being so wishy washy about his campaign, if he were spending more money on key early primary states, if he were taking matching funds and not asking you for another 23 million before finishing fourth in NH.

The establishment has to know how to play the election strategically as it is very important to them.

By hassling Paul about the third party, they were testing the water to see whether they were going to be facing another Perot. The question was for them, and for the record, not for the people so much. They also have potential "flip-flop" material. Of course it's not really a flip-flop, it is something they would no doubt point out if he chose to run third party anyway. Something to distract from the real issues and an attempt at showing some sort of weakness.

All along I've thought of this revolution as this generation's Woodstock, only rather than taking place in one location, it's happening across your entire country.

Each new generation has its special moment when it can make the largest impact on history. The 60s generation had its Woodstock. Other generations since had their moments of opportunity which, unfortunately, they didn't recognize or grab onto or, if they did, its influence left less of a mark on time.

THIS generation has the Ron Paul Revolution, which has the potential to be far larger and have far greater historical impact than any movement since the last century. If you can manage to take your country back, then you'll be helping to save the world from potential disaster too.

I see this revolution as that vital.

You've all learned, if you didn't know it already, that the MSM and what is and what is not taught at public schools, including post-secondary schools, has kept you uninformed about what the U.S. administration has been doing over the past several decades and how its foreign and trade policies has impacted on the world. This is why the world is watching you and praying (atheists use 'postive thoughts' :)) that you maintain the resolve to move the revolution forward NO MATTER WHAT.

Not just your fellow Americans, but the world, is counting on you and we're holding our collective breath.

Heirs to the revolution?

Good post, rev-SD.

I'd add to your thinking that before or alongside civil disobedience there ought to be a bottom-up movement to take over the dominant parties by people committed to emulating Dr. Paul. Assuming that it takes another 10 or 15 years to build sufficient momentum for another attempt to unseat the establishment, there will need to be candidates who are the obvious ideological heirs to the movement.

It's time for some of you young'uns to make a career choice...

While you're all designing slogans, make it:

Write-in Ron for the Win!

Write-in Ron to right the wrong!

...etc.

Keep "write-in" as one meme, which you want to link to Ron's name.

For Liberty!

PLEASE remember that the election is just one battle in the war for our freedom. It is a very important battle, but the war may take our lifetimes.
