I have decided to pull all of my funds (401k, Stocks, mutual funds.) out of the market and put it into safer vehicals.

Do to your knowledge of whats happening... is anyone else considering this???

tough to say...if we are down hard tomorrow, there may (and who knows) be a chance to have a relief rally the day after.

It depends when you are able to sell tomorrow...it wouldn't surprise me to see a sharp spike early, followed by a little relief later.

Just dont panic too much...The Fed could come in and cut rates, which would stop the downfall or create a spike up.

All im saying is be careful, i would sell throughout this week if you are serious about doing it. 20% each day.

I stopped putting money IN my 401K, but I have no pulled it out - there is a hefty penalty...

you willing to pay that price?

how do you get your 401k out?

Just call your Financial sponsor and tell them to move it to A fixed money market w/ a gauranteed return 3-6%... you still will have your 401-k it just wont have to take a beating through all the hell!

Honestly there is going to be some very cheap stocks in 6 months available for purchase for pennies on the dollar for people who stuck some funds in hard assets for a few months.

Gold will continue upwards for a good bit. Priced for inflation the 87 gold price would be at 2200 per oz so gold still has a long way to go before it is peaked out.

If you are looking at stocks I would suggest Gold, Silver, Platinum Mining companies. Along with any hard asset company world wide.

Follow Peter Sheif at Euro Pacific Capital and you should make some killer money.

Just move the money... out of the stock market to money market there is no penalty for that.

I put all my 401 money in a stable account last week. A guy I work with lost 50k last week in his 401
