It was about eight years ago, Stewart helped my stepdaughter out of an ugly situation here in NH.

This is criminal, what is happening to him, while at the same time the "just us" system lets violent felons walk free.

Prosecutors Seek 25-Year Jail Term for Oath Keepers Founder Stewart Rhodes for Jan. 6 Role

Federal prosecutors urged a federal judge late Friday to sentence Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes to 25 years in prison for plotting to prevent the peaceful transfer of power, casting the punishment for the far-right group’s leader as a critical moment in the reckoning with the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol.

If ultimately ordered, the 25-year sentence would go down as the longest handed down to date in the wave of more than 1,000 prosecutions stemming from the assault on the Capitol.

The Justice Department’s recommendation for Rhodes came just hours after Judge Amit Mehta sentenced a Pennsylvania man to 14 years in prison—the most severe penalty issued in connection with the Jan. 6, 2021 assault to date—for attacking police at the Capitol with a chair and chemical spray. Prosecutors had recommended a more than 24-year prison term for the convicted rioter, Peter Schwartz, citing his “repeated violence against police on January 6th, his substantial violent criminal history,” and “his utter lack of remorse.”

The sentence topped the 10-year prison term Judge Mehta ordered in September for retired New York City police officer Thomas Webster, who was convicted of attacking a police officer at the Capitol. That prison term stood for months as the stiffest punishment in a case linked to the Capitol attack.

In a 183-page court filing, federal prosecutors Friday urged that same judge to apply an enhanced terrorism penalty for Mr. Rhodes and other members of the Oath Keepers who, in a pair of trials, were found guilty of seditious conspiracy, the gravest charge the Justice Department has levied in cases linked to the Capitol attack.

That seems excessive, I'm not ok with it. I thought his organization was a good one and supported them until they got mixed up with Trump. He is now looking at the rest of his life in prison while Trump goes golfing. I wonder if Rhodes regrets it? So many people fucked up their lives for Trump, what a shame.

Regrets?

Maybe...I dunno...

I know this: we're all going to prison before this is all over with, unless we sum up the courage to fight back and win.

How about that time the "racist" Oathkeepers protected black owned shops in Ferguson?

And for a reference to what happens to black businesses normally in the aftermath of these "peaceful" race riots?

This is a perfect opportunity to remind people that the State's policing of malum in se offenses is ultimately only a fig leaf for the State's administration of so-called "justice".

Violent felons (muggers, rapists, murderers, etc.) are not a significant threat or danger to the State. In the State's eyes, Stewart Rhodes did something much worse and far more dangerous than any mere "violent felon" could ever even hope to do. He willfully and defiantly intruded upon the sacred precincts of the State's Holy of Holies. Such transgressions simply cannot be tolerated or allowed to go unanswered, and they require that harsh examples be made of the transgressors.

Muggers, rapists, and murderers, though? Not so much.

And this has always been the case. In fact, government has always seemed to have a certain appreciation for criminals because they justify the state's existence. Lately, though, there seems to be a new wrinkle. The state seems intent on killing as many of us as possible, and violent felons are being treated like an ally of government expected to help achieve that objective.

That is an essential part of what is called "anarcho-tyranny".

I'm even for standing up against electronic voting machines provided you're consistent about it. (i.e. the 2016 Georgia gubernatorial election might have been stolen in favor of republicans.)

But....making your stand about one man? One of my biggest "smack my head" moments was when I saw Simone Gold of Frontline Doctors get caught up in the January 6th prosecutions. She was standing for medical freedom while Trump was pushing Operation Warp Speed.

I feel terrible about what's happening to Stewart Rhodes and what happened to Enrique Tarrio and to the goofy "Q-Anon Shaman." But mass movements that coalesce around personalities instead of principles are doomed to fail. Why didn't they go hard against the armed Michigan anti COVID protestors or the Bundy ranch protestors? Because they know good and well how the power of an idea is over the power of a person. The Bundy ranch protestors weren't about Bundy as most people never heard of him prior to that. But lots of people are against the idea of federal overreach when it comes to land. The spirit of Bundy has made Kevin Cosner relevant again as an actor. Can you believe this is actually popular in the 21st century?

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Occam's Banana again.

Biden's DOJ drops all charges against Soros-backed Massachusetts DA caught lying under oath
The Department of Justice's failure to charge Rollins raises questions about a two-tiered system of justice.

Rachel Rollins, US Attorney for the District of Massachusetts, resigned from her office on Friday after the Department of Justice's Office of the Inspector General (OIG) found evidence that she lied to investigators to reportedly influence an election. The OIG referred criminal charges to the DOJ, but the Justice Department decided not to prosecute the district attorney, according to The Messenger.

Gee, I wonder what they'll do about it this time.

EXCLUSIVE J6 INVESTIGATION

- Thanks to new House Speaker Mike Johnson, We now have permission to release Capitol CCTV footage proving that a member of Nancy Pelosi's security detail, Special Agent David Lazarus, perjured himself on the stand during the Oath Keepers trial.

- Lazarus was brought in to corroborate another Capitol police officer's account claiming that he had antagonistic encounter with the Oath Keepers. But footage of Lazarus proves that he was lying.

- These lies, spread unquestioningly by the media and Democrat politicians, were used to put innocent people in prison, ruining their lives and the lives of their families. They and their attorneys did not have access to the footage at trial that Blaze Media is releasing today.

- Instead, Harry Dunn was made a hero by Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi, and as a result of his and David Lazarus's false testimony, there are innocent people in prison.

- The government lied about this. What else are they lying about?
