One crucial misquote in that article:

It should be, "If you think he (John McCain) can lead this country back..."

BTW, they were the first ones to report the endorsement of Norma McCorvey. However, they report on Huckabee more than the other candidates. But they do bash McCain and the others.

Looks like the mistake was a simple typo/transcription error, not a deliberate attempt to misrepresent Ron Paul's message.

Actually, when I was listening to the speech, it sounded to me like Ron Paul may have said "we" rather than "he", though he obviously meant "he". I haven't relistened to that part to verify it, but you might want to before writing them.

Youtube at 6:45, part 1 - he does say "we" but it is referencing a government patterned after a McCain presidency. I would say the article is misleading - whether intentional or not.
