PRIMARIES in the next 3 weeks - candidates to support

Looks like yesterday was very successful in most of the primaries, except for Schiff and Bruning of course. Looks like Minnesota and Colorado are posed for an infusion of liberty :)

I don't know if you're strictly adding Republican candidates to the list but you might want to look at Dennis Steele for Governor of Vermont..

New York isn't in your post yet, but I'd like to submit for consideration Joe DioGuardi, candidate for US Senate in NY. His primary is September 14th.

Though a former congressman, he's not the establishment candidate, as he did not obtain enough delegates in the convention and had to petition his way on the ballot. However, he seems to be leading in the polls.

He's an accountant who seems to understand the debt problems, and even spoke at an "Audit/End the Fed" rally.

With regard to foreign policy, he is an independent thinker, for better or worse. As an Albanian advocate, unfortunately he supported Clinton's interventions. However, he says the Iraq war was a mistake and questions the Afghanistan war.

National Security

The best weapon in response to an enemy willing to employ suicide and capable of using nuclear weapons is intelligence—enhanced through technology and human resources, not war. We must put a premium on the development of an intelligence operation, coordinated with our allies, to identify and root out terrorist organizations like al Qaeda. War should be used as a last resort. Iraq was a mistake, and our military should continue to bow out gracefully and allow Iraq to emerge under its own self rule. The war in Afghanistan is a war of choice that needs to be reconsidered in light of the immense foreign policy implications involving two of our allies, Pakistan and India.

On this map you have missed the NH Tea Party Coalition in Concord, and all the myriad of groups under it. (You have some of them, like the 912ers)

Also, primary on September 14 for Jim Bender US Senate from NH

Polls close at 9pm and 11pm est. Here I was thinking I would see some results soon...damn time zones.

John Koster (WA-2) is DEFINITELY a potential pickup for us. The district is very moderate at D+3....

He's not 100% with us, but he will definitely be an ally. From his issues page:

George Washington warned about foreign alliances, interventions and entanglements. That was good advice to safeguard our national security and we should always consider it carefully. A foreign intervention is justified when it legitimately protects our national interests and security.

Our founding document, The Declaration of Independence, states that the purpose of government is the protection of our God-given unalienable rights, which include, but are not necessarily limited to, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

It's possible, but it will be difficult. With 59% reporting, the district went 53-47 for the Democratic candidates.

Free state project looking to sweep the entire NH state government? Thats a lot of candidates. :)

I would consider Donna Milo in the Congressional Republican FL-20 primary to be a liberty candidate as well.

Yeah, I'm not wild about her rabid pro-Israel stance, but she's good elsewhere....so she's on the list now. :)
