Pretty shocked at the support Ron Paul is getting at the other forum I visit

It's a car site with an incredibly diverse visitor base politically. Check out the poll:

I think Dr. Paul stands a better chance at getting the GOP nomination than we're giving him credit for if we put in the work to spread his message.

A lot of these guys are ex-military and/or career military. I've been on that site for 11 years now and at 29 years old, I'm still one of the younger ones around.

Then I'd mark it up as slightly encouraging. Thanks for the daily dose of good news.

The pool forum (pocket billiards) I visit is the same, Ron Paul could easily win an open primary there, lol. The neocon attacks are much more desperate than a couple of years ago and not getting nearly the support.

It had me thinking of starting a political sports association, an umbrella group for member political sports associations. Libertarians would always win of course, because socialists just can't compete.

Lets face it, the longer these wars go on, the more the govt spends and gets in debt, the better RP looks to a Neocon.

In 2008 I remember lots of people who said they liked RP but he couldn't win, so they didn't bother giving him a second look. We really need to demolish that argument and propel him into a place where people see him as one of the candidates who can win.

Going to be hard to do that when Ron Paul is thrown to the far side panel in the media debates and Romney/Huckabee/Palin/Gingrich are side-by-side in the center combining for about 85% of the total speaking time.

Ron Paul has always had a big following in the military. I think we're attracted to him cause of what I call the "grown ass man" attitude, which is that we like to think that we are self-sustainable cause we train that way.

His stature is already a lot higher than it was in 2008. There are things the media will do that are out of our hands. But there's plenty we can do to. Winning CPAC is the first thing. The next thing is, after he announces, we need to do some head-turning grassroots fund raising, and make him the best funded candidate at the beginning of the primary season. Then we need to win the Iowa straw poll. Another thing that would help is endorsements. He should get more and better endorsements this time than he did in 08. We can't make that happen, but we can probably help.

Ron Paul is immensely popular on lots of forums. I'm a member of bodybuilding.com, and see lots and lots of sigs about Ron Paul 2012, 'Don't blame me, I voted for Ron Paul,' etc.

it makes me sick to read people's comments in that pole. The vast majority of people in general have no clue that there is a move towards Globalism. They just plain don't understand the severity of the situation on any front
