OK, that's better than the alternative but it also goes to show how absolutely unnecessary all of this is. It's purely political and is serving no good purpose for us to be involved. We should not be sending money or troops over there at all. If we did not, none of these ME problems would be coming home to our shores. All the talking-points that got us into Afghanistan, Iraq, etc. have since been proven to be false (at best) or outright lies. It's no different this time, in fact, it's worse than ever. We need to get out and stay out, keep American treasure at home and deploy our troops for self-protection rather than for playing empire. Is it BS? Yeah. But it takes away any acceptable reason for Israel to continue to engage.
