They will say.... Its sad that he could only get third in a live free or die state... The media hates Ron, they won't rally behind him, or give him fair coverage, even in third place... : (

He will get AT LEAST third.

I just fear even that wont be enough to overcome this horrid media coverage.

Stop the damn predictions and naysaying.

Whatever happens, good or bad, I am in this until the end. I will just keep fighting...

He lost if he can't even get 2nd or 1st in this state. Even 2nd is stretching it.

You people are nitwits. This is a longterm campaign. He's building momentum at every step, despite the MSM trying to keep him under wraps. Third will get even more attention and get even more people to take him seriously.

I've never been one of those people who overestimates what we're doing here, and he's still a longshot for the nomination. But it's REAL shot, not the pie-in-the-sky protest campaign crap that the msm pushes.

Given the short attention span of the mainstream voters, a strong third in NH is almost ideal. While the media and the mainstream herd waffle around propping up the surge-of-the-week candidate, Ron Paul keeps stripping more and more support away from the old guard, and opens their eyes to the truth. Once they hear Dr. Paul, they're very unlikely to go back. If he can grab a solid 15% of the vote he can go into Feb. 5th with the status of a real contender. The msm won't play it this way, but we are never going to get a break from them. We're fighting against them as much as we are the neo-cons.

Are you kidding? We would get great media coverage with a 3rd place finish. We surprised a lot of people with 5th in Iowa.

first, second, 5th, ninth.

who cares. he's the only real candidate. buckle down, focus more on dr. paul.

I totally agree...its early on, we're fighting out of a hole with the MSM, and I personally see improvements in the coverage we're getting. People around me are much easier to talk to about Dr. Paul....we can't expect miracles, hard work will get us small but consistent gains. Appreciate them!

I'd love a percentage in the teens, beating Huck or Giuliani would be nice too.

Ron could win 1st in NH with a 158% lead on the nearest opponent and they'll still find a way to marginalize him. The MSM, especially the hideous Fox News Channel, have made their position clear and I fully expect they will fight him every step of the way.

If we are to win the presidency for Ron Paul, it will be because we found ways to reach people without the help of the old media. He could win every primary from here to the RNC and they will only begrudgingly acknowledge the fact. If we are to win the presidency for him, it will be in spite of them.

The supporters and the campaign will have to circumvent these propaganda outlets in order to reach and win over their very important audience, and there needs to be a clear strategy for doing so that is executed consistently from top to bottom. It's just that simple.

That is what I am saying. I will continue on no matter what, so why worry about it?

Just keep fighting for liberty and let the rest fall where it may...

It takes a LONG TIME to defeat the ignorance in America thats propagated by the mainstream media. They don't want Ron Paul and they will stop at nothing to make sure America thinks ill of him. Dont hinge your fight in this on a few states that have been dumbed down by the MSM.

Get a grip...

We got 10% and beat Rudy in Iowa.

When RP gets 15% or more in NH and even if he only beats Rudy and Thompson, this is a truly great success!

Paul is gaining % share and previous 'contenders' are being passed by. Contenders that would kill to have what RP has both in momentum, donations, and enthusiastic supporters! And, he did it all in spite of a grossly unfair media highlighting our competition and dissing us.

We don't have to win here to win.
Surviving and growing is winning!

Ask any of those contenders we've passed by that are now dying, if you don't believe me, they'll tell you!!

ProfNo states "That is what I am saying. I will continue on no matter what, so why worry about it?"

The problem with consistence low showings is Dr. Ron could lose his monetary support. People might get the attitude "why bother spending my money now, what's the point ?" We can all continue on, but will we be able to due to lack of funds ? Let's all hope we won't come to that decision.

Little by little, we get more and more MSM coverage. I'd say, conservatively, 80% of it is either an obvious hit piece or ambush, or it's deceptively slanted towards making us and RP out to be idiots.

I'd say, it doesn't matter what kind of attention they give us. Look at the momentum and accomplishments we've had WITHOUT THEM! I say fuck them and focus on more important issues.
