PPP to Release their Final Poll of the Kentucky Senate Race Today

I wonder if Magellan will come in? They were the most accurate in the primary.

Mind you, I think people are starting to screen their calls there are so many, so I wonder if that will impact polling.

good point. Some democrat committee left an anti-Rand message on my voicemail yesterday. Aquastomp had nothing on this negative message. The democrats have gone full tilt nuclear, and one would be well advised to screen calls!

And on the other side, when I was making GOTV phone calls for the victory center the other night, perhaps 5 to 10% picked up their phone and hung it back up before I could talk. (our caller id said something like "blah blah republican committee" so it was obvious to anyone with caller id that they were receiving a political call). There were a lot of phones that didn't pick up - but those could have been legitimate no-one-at-home calls.

As far as I know, the no-call-list for telemarketers does not apply to political phone calls.

The mood in KY is "let's get this over with... TV is almost unwatchable and the phones are ringing too much."

In California I'm screening my calls now. I'm getting a dozen a day (well, yesterday I got a dozen) that are political calls of one sort or another. 'Meg's campaign calls me several times a day. Apparently I'm expected to go meet her at hotels all over town. Thanks, but no.

We don't have any worthwhile candidates in southern California. I'm voting, but my closest enthusiasm is John Dennis.

That is correct. Although if you hit #0* it will remove you from the list during the robocall a good percentage of the time. Although considering I called a number that was 14 years old yesterday at the victory office, it would surprise me if that isn't a temporary solution.

Anyone want to bet they show a surge for Conway. This time I really will run through lexington naked if they don't!!

Get ready to run, polling firms are part of a free market and you want to be the most accurate. Any mistake they make can and will cost them future markets.

Yep. If they want to slant their polls they can get away with it a month or so before the election, but not the weekend before. This should be the most accurate poll yet, because it is the one that will be compared against the actual results.

I was called and particpated in this poll. At the end, when I learned that it was a PPP poll I cheered.

When the call came into my line, it showed up on my caller ID as "Out of Area". I almost didn't answer.

This is the most important poll for them. If they're far off, their reputation will be ruined. Why would they show Conway surging?

Well, they could have intentionally overstated Rand's lead last time. they did say 13 when SUSA said 9..... later Rasmussen said 12..... I think Rand was building towards an even bigger lead, though.

Larry Breitfelder's City Council campaign is the only one in SoCal that seems to be in full support of property rights.

I think this poll will show that stomping on out of state liberal hippie activists isn't looked down upon so much in the great state of kentucky.

No, it will show that one supporter being out of line in protecting someone isn't held against the candidate.

Heck, if it comes right down to it, Rand has a cause of action against the woman who shoved a sign in his face...

Yes, if I was Rand I think I would sue her. I'm wondering why he won't (as it seems). Maybe he doesn't want to give the bitch attention.

As for Tim, if I was Rand, I would thank him for trying to save my life. That woman could've had a gun, and he tried to restrain her (before the stomp).

The stomp was wrong, but someone who tries to stop a crime and uses excessive force (without causing serious damage) is better than someone who doesn't use excessive force and just sits on his ass while someone's brain is being blown up.

Tim doesn't go before the judge before the election is over. Since this was put up as an election issue, the dynamic changes quite a bit on Wednesday. I expect the coverage to change, too.

Just noticed that their tweet says the polls are likely to come out today.... It doesn't say they definitely will.
