ppppolls: Biggest news from South Carolina night 1 is that Newt has moved way ahead of Santorum for 2nd...looks like Mitt v. Newt in SC
 
My personal opinion is that a strong third by us and Gingrich beating Romney is the best scenario (aside from winning.) Romney would no longer be considered the de facto nominee and Romney would be greatly weakened in states like Nevada that we can win.
 
These tweets seems to confirm the insider advantage poll.

PPP's last poll of SC was Romney 30, Gingrich 23, Santorum 19, Paul 9.
 
It will be better if Romney stays on top and RP in 2nd or 3rd(if not 1st). We need Santorum to drop out, and us to still be the only Anti-Romney. Newt is too proud to drop out
 
We have to come in top 3 to be viable going forward, and I expect we will. This news about gingrich is huge though because when voters see him ahead of santorum, all the santorum votes will go to gingrich and he will fly past romney. It will give us at least a comfortable 3rd ahead of santorum.

Under that scenario, you have the story being Newt Gingrich. If you thought the hype for Santorum or Huntsman was big, a Newt victory would have everyone saying "2 man race - Romney vs Gingrich"

We don't want Gingrich ahead of Santorum. Gingrich can win. Santorum and Huntsman cannot. Now, we don't want Romney getting so far ahead, either.
 
we need to watch out for the youth vote percentage.it showed 19% in the insider adv poll for paul.this is highly unlikely or very likely to move to 45+ which is our national average. we are atleast 16% in SC and above frothy if we have that 19 bumping upto 45. is SC a younger demographic state or is it as old as NH?
also,since democrats can vote ,how can we stop them from going to huntsman
 
Radio news is on newts balls. but plenty of adds to knock him down. Its going to be close.
 
We need electability ads in SC. Showing how Ron has the ability to beat Obama. There's enough polls out there to back this. Most people never see those polls because of the media.
 
Why is Ron not polling in S.C like he did in Iowa and N.H? Why doesn't S.C like Ron as much as everyplace else has so far?
 
yes, show the polls which compare Obama vs Paul
and have a "Dangerous to the Status quo" ad !!
