PPP: Paul slowly trending upwards in Texas

We'll see. So far we are assuming Ron has no momentum, but people are starting to come back here, if you look at the visitors the last couple of days (yesterday's were even higher), so news is slowly percolating out. And this weekend there are two more conventions.

I tend to agree if we don't get momentum by the big states, we are not very likely to win them and block Romney. But Ron and Rand and Cruz and the Tea Party express are doing a rally in Austin etc, and outreach is occurring to other conservatives. Meanwhile, I don't think Romney has set foot in the state. We'll see.

Cruz is doing a rally with Ron?

The description really sounds different depending on whose press release you read.

The campaign says Ron is doing a rally with Rand and Tea Party Express. Another version is that Tea Party express is doing a rally with Cruz and Ron and Rand will be there (or almost). De Mint endorsed Cruz and I think recently Rand did. Cruz as far as I'm concerned is not one of us, exactly, but he might be the best in that race, I don't really know. If he IS the best in that race, Ron could be reaching out to the other side of the tea party.

But I don't honestly know.

Holding rallies doesn't get you up in the polls, while it might create some buzz in the area, you have to do retail politics, phoning, and mailings...rallies are fluff. Ron would have to campaign harder than he ever did in Iowa or NH...I don't think he has the will or the money to do it. That's just the truth. Grassroots has always driven this campaign.

I don't know... Gingrich supporters are much more 'Romney haters' than Santorum's are. It depends if Gingrich endorses Romney, but I doubt he will. He has a huge personal distrust and hate for the man. He would have dropped out a while ago but stayed in just to do any sabotage he could to Romney.

Gingrich obviously has no love for Romney, but if Romney offers to pay down a significant chunk of Gingrich's debt Gingrich won't have much of a choice but to endorse him.

Among Women:
Newt Gingrich 32% {20%}

Among Evangelical Christians:
Newt Gingrich 45%

Just there, especially since the poll date was after Newt had pulled out,

I don't believe this poll.

How dense would you have to be to donate to a candidate who ran his campaign into millions of dollars of debt and is throwing in the towel?

A campaign wallowing in debt should be a hint at how this candidate approaches finances shouldn't it?

Texas NEEDS at least 20% of the primary vote to go to Paul or otherwise we don't get a single pledged delegate to vote for Dr. Paul in round one of national convention voting.

The key for this is convincing Tea Partiers to vote for Dr. Paul since he is the last Constitutionalist in the race.

i am sooo nervous about texas!!!! we been polling like garbage in the state but with newt and rick out, hopefully our numbers will go up substantially. one thing is for sure though, i will not get my hopes up at all about texas, whatever happens in texas happens and if by some miracle we win texas im going to jump through my wall in excitement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i really want ron to shock the world and pull a rabbit out of his hat and win both texas and california!!! that would be fkn INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont have google chrome, so can someone inbox me and tell me what state the pfh program is calling right now
