PPP NC Poll (01/05-01/08)

North Carolina has their primary on May 8th. That is May. Thirty-eight, 38, states and territories have their primary or caucus before North Carolina.

Wow, that is an absolute annihilation that Romney and Santorum puts on us 1 v 1. How can we say we want to go 1 v 1?

Those numbers aren't just bad, they are god awful.

It's in one of our worst states, and the poll was taken before we took second in New Hampshire. Romney voters are concerned about "electability" more than anything else, so the better we do and more popular we become, the better we'll start polling. I'm certain our numbers there have already improved.

This is North Carolina not South Carolina.... Chickenhawk and Frothy will be the hell out of there by then

It is irrelevant at this time. We have A LOT of time to build on these numbers. :)

Those numbers don't make me feel good about South Carolina. North Carolina is part of the Bible belt, like South Carolina, and I'm afraid the Evangelicals will give this away to Romney splitting the vote between Gingrich and Frothy.

South Carolina votes on Jan. 21st. North Carolina votes on May 8th. There are 37 states/territories that vote between these two contests. It is too far out to make predictions at this point.

I have literally the only presidential campaign signs Ive ever seen in an NC yard. The local media isn't talking about the race at all, other than the occasional blip about an SC visit by this candidate or that one. NC polls are pointless right now. On a positive note, since last night's NH finish Ive talked to several people here that want to help with the SC effort and will definitely be involved when NC's primary comes around. It'll likely be Ron vs. Mitt by then anyway.
