Mitt's in 3rd place for the caucus in Missouri (where Newt will be in the picture, as opposed to the primary)

ppppolls PublicPolicyPolling
Newt, Mitt, Santorum all within 4 points of each other in Ohio and all within 6 points of each other in Missouri

Good weekend for Newt and Santorum, bad weekend for Mitt on our polling outside Florida

*FYI: Missouri will hold a primary on February 7th, 2012, which will not count for delegates toward the 2012 GOP convention. The Missouri Republican Party will hold a caucus on March 17th, 2012, which will determine the delegates sent to the 2012 GOP convention*

Does that mean Santorum is in 2nd? It is more of his territory..

Of course. When we get these tweets, everyone gets excited and thinks Ron will be ahead of someone, but he's always last. Always.

Uhh, well derr, ofc Newt would be in the picture, why wouldn't he be?

I also dont get the polling of the primary and caucus separately. How is that even possible? Why not just like...i dunno, take a general poll like they always do?

Will he be in fifth? Who cares except for the caucus? If Paul does well in the early caucus states then people will quickly learn more about the complicated nominating process.

This is what happens if we all sit on our asses waiting for the campaign to create momentum.

We should all be actively trying to get voter information and hitting up the likely republican voters.

Expect to be in last in both polls.

They aren't even mentioning Ron. He will probably be a non-factor in all of these polls.

uggggh. MSM has capitulated the minds of the voters. I just am beside myself thinking HOW DOES FROTHY even get ONE damn vote.. then I look at Gingrich and all his corruption and wonder the same... I do not get it.

Too much of the country just doesn't want to wake up, all there is to it. But no worries, soon enough they will be forced to, only then it won't be a very pretty awakening. We really do live in a banana republic right now.

Anyway, i think was expected, heard weeks ago Newt was leading over there.

It could be:

Gingrich 28%
Santorum 23%
Romney 22%
Paul 19%
Undecided 8%

In which case Paul has a chance to do well in a caucus.

This is why winning matters. You can talk all day long about delegate strategies and sleeper cells and brokered conventions, but wins matter.

MO is neocon country. At least the south, which is where the majority of GOP votes come from is. The northern half is more left leaning but the few GOP in the north are a little more openminded.

Santorum and Gingrich both beat Romney 1 on 1 in Ohio and Missouri. One will have to drop out if Mitt's going to be stopped
