And this is why I always advocated Ron running Indy. I honestly don't think people realize what we're are up against to win. I did. However, I didn't realize that Rush, Hannity, Levin, and Beck would be so vile. When they all attacked Ron with purpose and on purpose after polls showed Ron moving fast up to first in Iowa, Ron's negative numbers shot thru the roof to 60 unfavorables. That makes it tough to win anything. The talk radio hosts followed orders and the damage done has not been repaired.

But independents just don't win in the current system. They can't participate in the formal debates, no one knows who's even running in the third parties, and the whole system is rigged. If Ron Paul ran libertarian, he wouldn't have much of a movement, I don't think.

One thing about Ron running third party now, is that THEY'VE ASKED HIM SO MANY TIMES about it, that it's on people's radar. Another thing is that the RAMIFICATIONS TO THE GOP are also well-known. The SCREW THE GOP FACTOR is already laid in most people's minds, which could be a positive for all INDIES and haters of politicians in general.

The honest thing about a 3rd party run is MONEY! If Ron thought for one minute that he could raise 100 million plus more very quickly I'd gurantee he'd be thanking very hard about running. But the fact is he'd probably need even more than that. And the anti war crowd is to stupid, the majority of them that is to withdrawl their support from Obama.
