PPP- Broun in first with 27%

This is quite a commanding lead if the numbers are correct. The last poll had me worried that he was down and out in 3rd place. Perhaps we can get a Broun, Brannon and McDaniel this go around after all.

May God be good. We may win all three. We may win none. We cannot take any race for granted. I thought we had Nebraska in the bag before SCF and CFG started propping up a RINO.

Polling has consistently shown Broun performing the best against Nunn. This man is no Todd Akin. He is an intelligent medical doctor. What has Broun said that makes people think he'll throw the race? All I've heard him say is that he doesn't believe in macroevolution. This is a common belief among Georgians, so I don't see the problem.

Even if he does say an Akin-esque thing, it probably won't cost him the election in GA anyway.

Apparently there's this slideshow thing out attacking Broun (mostly his personal life). Here's the link: http://www.slideshare.net/gapoltipline/the-broun-record-of-proven-leadership

The "backstory" on this from a local political blog, here: http://www.peachpundit.com/2014/03/10/some-backstory-on-the-paul-broun-powerpoint/#comments

Idk about this race anymore. The guy's got the best record you could hope for, for a Georgia Republican, but damn he says/does some really stupid things (granted, most of the stuff in the slideshow is from a long time ago). Now I couldn't care less about his personal life, as long as he votes the way I want him to, but the establishment's thought controllers will absolutely rely on shit like this to make sure literally ANYONE else, besides him, is elected. I'm surprised he's still a contender...hope I'm making this out to be way more than really it is.

Broun's proven economic voting record is stellar, not only among Georgian legislators, but in the entire House of Representatives. He's exactly who we need in the Senate right now.

Eye on the prize. Debt and deficits, size of government, etc, is still the number one issue of our day, and Broun has proven he will solidly deliver on this.

That slide show didn't look that bad. One thing is not true. He is not a political loser. He was a Republican when Nunn was a Democratic Senator. I don't know how hard it was to unseat blue dogs in the 1990s.

Akin was a moral man. He was a bad fundraiser and came up with the worst possible sentence he could have said.

There are people more recently who have finance issues like Michael Grimm and Aaron Schock and they are not in handcuffs.

The News calling his Republican Group names will help him. Joe Arpaio and Rohrabacher are constantly bashed by local media.
