Dad-To-Be Killed In Gender Reveal Explosion

A New York man died Sunday in an explosion after a device he was building for his baby’s upcoming gender reveal party accidentally detonated, police said.

The explosion killed soon-to-be father Chris Pekny, 28, of Liberty, and injured his younger brother, Major James C. Michael of the New York State Police said in a statement.
