Don't let 100,000 people decide this election. Iowa is less than 1% of all the votes that will be cast. Iowa is basically the 1st pitch of 9 inning game.
The was only one poll though. The rest of them had us around 7%.
I'm disappointed cuz I thought we could pull off 3rd place but the OP's post did put some things into perspective. This wasn't a terrible showing. I kinda wish HQ woulda campaigned a little harder here though.
I don't necessarily think McCain will win NH. Romney will be desperate for a win and will pull out all the stops to get people to the polls. NH is a small place and Romeny's money should give him an organizational edge.
If Ron can take 2nd from McCain (or get first) then McCain is done.
Really, McCain's results tonight are not so good. Where is that "surge" we kept hearing about? Ol' fart Thompson beat him!
I agree with all of that. We missed third but Iowa is not where we are strong. New Hampshire and other states we will do better. Especially since we have proven the polls were not accurate (34% off averaging polls together) and how we decimated Giuliani. Seeing how close we got to third and how we decimated Guiliani the mainstream media can't say Ron Paul is the longshot candidate any longer.
absolutely. regardless of the outcome of the presidential race I shall continue to seek out and support those who support the ideals that Dr. Paul has represented admirably for 30 years.
