Pollster Frank Luntz agrees to moderate Nov. 19 forum in IA for GOP presidential candidate

What many of you and what Ron Paul is not getting is that the phrasing, in this instance, requires a certain participation from the recipient.
If Frank asks questions that are worded in such a way, then Ron Paul needs to not do what he has been doing.... notably, keep quieting and letting everyone walk all over him. He also need, ron paul, to REPHRASE the question before he answers..... HE NEEDS TO REPHRASE THE DEBATE/QUESTION SO THAT the audience can then refilter the intent.

If Ron Paul doesn't do this, yeah - it will be LAME and the same ol' same ol' -- BUT if he does, he scores a home-run.

We just need a new improved Ron Paul to show up at the debates. Is that gonna happen?

That is huge. Ron is trying to discuss the important stuff so he adopts the phrasing of the questioner. And he MUSTN'T. He must deal with this guy like he did Chris Matthews on Hardball, but not expect nearly as much intellectual honesty.

The other day there was an interview and he was asked "You are polling well vs Obama in Florida, how can you capture the rest of the country?" or something like that. I was so frustrated when he didn't say "Well, I'm also polling within one point of Obama nationally, and Florida is a key swing state. I also beat him with independents by 10%. I would win the election if it were held right now"

The same with drugs, the wars, social security, ect. It would make a huge difference. Never, ever accept the framing of the question, re-frame it in a way that you can dominate.

This is where I find Ron Pauls' inability to take concrete directions during debates disheartening. I surely don't know what it's like being up there, so perhaps there is some angle I am not accounting for. But to me, RP could use ALOT of work here. I think with this revelation that Frank LULZ will be the moderator, Ron Paul is gonna have to come in with notes and reminders.... like the previous poster mentioned, RP leaves out ALOT of pertinent info that could really lend credibility to his arguments, but he doesn't mention them....
