I watched it three times. Then I remembered they are reaching out for the undecided voter, not us Ron Paul diehards.

That said, I do wish they tried harder to get more of his message accross. It really is hard to say much in 30 seconds. - No one will accuse them of being flashy or too hollywood thats for sure.

IMO, this screams "I'm no different than any other politician, here's some 'good sounding fluff' and 'bad acting' to prove it."

Actually, young supporters could make the same video with good actors (read: genuine supporters) instead. And if it's targeting the older demographic why not include some more older people in the commercial.

I've just gotta think that this is meant to counter kooky, flamboyant, lunatic, etc. I think that it was dull by design. At least, I hope that's what they were aiming for, and I hope that they know what they're doing.

I think the campaign needs to contact some supporters who know a thing or 2 about videos/TV, like Aravoth & Adam Curry & some other people (not that New Hope guy though), and ask them for professional advise.

I thought it was good! Great acting! It appeals to who it's suppose to and OptionsTrader already proved that. This is just an intro so it was going to be light and just give the basic info. Some of you people are full of yourselves. "I could have done better. I should have been the producer. Blah blah blah." It's like people don't know that Congressman Paul has been doing this for a while. Longer than most of us have been born.
