Poll: Denying Trump nomination would cost GOP in November

You made a general statement about people who are not going to vote for Trump. Ron Paul is on record as not being willing to vote for Trump. That means that you can decide not to vote for Trump, even in the general election, and not be a globalist or neocon. Your statement is analogous to those who note how many republicans are voting for Trump and saying "Well that just means there are a lot of racists in the GOP."

I don't think she's making a general statement about who is not voting for Trump (I'm not voting for anybody), I think she's specifically talking about a handful of people here who are incessantly whining about Trump while not really giving any criticism of the other equally (in my opinion) bad candidates, not to mention spamming up this entire forum with useless links to MSM articles.

Not voting doesn't make one a globalist/Neocon, but the way that many here are opting to approach opposing Trump sounds a lot like your average Bush or Romney supporter, regardless to whether or not they intend it that way or not.

LE likes her high horse, you should know that by now drake. The forum if i recall did an evaluation of Trump and it came back negative

Umm......you realize you just put your foot in your mouth? CPUd's point about there being a lot of conservatives is that many conservatives, like Ron Paul, do not support Donald Trump.

Nope.

There are not that many conservatives left, I don't think. A whole lot of people who fell for FOX's neoconservative swan song though. I think a great deal of those who did not are supporting Trump. There are exceptions of course; like Ron Paul. It is no secret though that the globalists hate Trump.

Do you feel like Ron Paul supporters must vote lock-step with Ron Paul?

Of course not. But to say that anyone who won't vote for Donald Trump is a neocon is to call Ron Paul a neocon.

The poll surveyed 468 Republican Trump supporters and has a margin of error of 5.3 percentage points.
A poll using 468 persons to predict 120 million votes in a general election . . . what would that margin of error be again ?

I love Ron Paul, and love everything he has done.

But I don't agree with his assessment of Trump, and what a Trump presidency might look like.

Personally, I like the wrecking ball potential. I don't really care what he's saying. If a Trump presidency explodes politics as we know it, and creates potential for average Americans to wake up and demand some changes - I see that as a good thing.

I surely don't think a Trump presidency would make things worse than they are right now. And I feel confident a Hillary or Cruz presidency *would* make things worse.

Bernie? not sure....

my thoughts expressed in a different way. that's why I'm rooting for him.

He is going to lose the general election by 18 points. How, then, is he a wrecking ball? Give Hillary the election, thats our plan? What?
