Along with that same disclaimer article Drudge has kept up for Cain basically dismissing any criticism as "expected" because he is a frontrunner and that it's because he is black, while being a very pro-Cain article.

Did you see his disclaimer below it? He has had it up since Cain became "top tier".

It has a disclaimer from Drudge implying any and all attacks are fabricated by the left and claim it is the same thing as Clarence Thomas. "Conservatives" all over the net are literally quoting it. Drudge is protecting Cain.

Cain's media guy called in live on the air. Geraldo is a Cain supporter and gave Cain's press guy EVERY chance to deny it, and the campaign wouldn't deny it. He asked it multiple times and wouldn't let up. But the campaign wouldn't deny it. I gained a lot of respect for Geraldo after that because he wouldn't accept the spin / BS.

Cain is not going to win Iowa, he doesn't have the ground game there like other candidates. He's barely (if at all) been in the state since the straw poll and from what I understand Iowans are big on personal appearances. Ron Paul is going to do very well in Iowa.

Reading..

The allegations didn't just come up because Cain ran for president, they were made years ago.

They paid the women off in 5 digit figures, with an agreement not to talk about it. I take it they are true.

There is probably more than two women involved, as a board member said a couple, and a staffer mentions a third case that went to court. I'd guess four or more.

He already alluded to a Clarence Thomas-style issue, and that he would respond like Thomas- which worked for Thomas. What's the difference here? Is a highER tech lynching impossible to evade?

This isn't going to be a one day story. Politico didn't name names, probably on purpose. Somebody is going to find out who the women are in the coming days. Cain's campaign issued a denial. It this is proven to be true and there was a payoff, he is done. Even teflon Cain can't slide out of that.

My question is, the papers these ladies signed, will it stop them from talking? If they do talk what kind of legal recourse would happen against them? There has to be a way for this to get un-swept from under the legal document rug..
