Politico: Pro-Paul PAC makes BIG ad buy in South Carolina

I had only seen one of these ads before, and I didn't really like it. But now that I've seen all of these together, and assuming they will run all of them, I think it's all good.

These ads are pretty good in a cornball sorta way. The only one I'd worry about is the Masks one, but overall not bad.

I'm thankful people are out there doing their best and spending a lot of money to help Paul.

$317,000. is a lot of money to part with for a weeks worth of comercials.

What a huge sacrifice for the cause.

THANK YOU Pro-Paul PAC

They are airing the Masks ad. They had someone come here and ask for input. We said no to the masks ad. They aired it anyway.

They're not that bad. They need to be airbrushed a bit by a professional though. They are blunt and to the point.

the rev pac ads are of a higher quality, but these ads hit on an important issue, electability. Furthermore, I like the bailout one. I don't think Ron calls out the other candidates often enough on TARP and the other bailouts given how unpopular they were.

These ads are worse than those from New Hampshire 2008. What a waste of resources.

The ads aren't that good but It is great that they're giving him $300,000 worth of advertising though.

While it is DWARFED by newt-romney it's still quite a bit and while i'm merely an amateur political scientist I have to think that after a couple hundred thousand dollars you really start to get into diminishing returns. The 300,000 we spend will provide a lot more bang for the buck than the extra votes that the second milion in a 2 million dollar ad buy provides.

I actually kinda like the masks one... LOL.. the creepy floating heads.... rofl... It's one to remember and isn't that the point?

I could be wrong but I thought that poll was something informational that a RPF user posted in case Santa Rita PAC came to the forum.

These ads are great. They are short 30 second ads, and they are actually going to stand out because they aren't similiar to every commercial on TV these days that are over-produced. These will stand out due to this. They get their point across. Great job to these guys. I cannot believe how mean some of the comments are that some people left on the YT page! These ads come across as being from the average working person. Bravo!

just did a second take and the "electability" ad isn't half bad. Seems to be the only one not made using powerpoint '97 and voice-over.

Yep.

They're like quick jabs that the campaign follows with a big uppercut in their ads.

Er... not that we're trying to beat the crap out of potential voters. Maybe that wasn't the best analogy...

I wish RevPac would reach out to this PAC and offer some help on the ads. Mr. Huffines might not even know how to find someone to put together quality ads without spending a ton on hiring an ad company.

Meh. I like the ads. They are cheesy in a good way. They're the kind of thing PACs are about. They might be able to get us soft support and push the narrative that Paul is electable and has support from the troops, and is an incorruptible populist.

I think they're fine too.
