They don't have a clue how meaningless that party is (their convention, not our rally), but you bet we want Ron up front and center in it. Does Romney want those swing states or not?

The Paul Festival will be there and have stages and venues for the rally and we can bring everyone together, instead people are going to this rally which I dont blame them its Ron! But I wont be able to make that and many others that will be at the Paul Festival and I personally have never seen him speak in person and have never met the man, even though I signed up as a delegate for the state of SD, campaigned in two states for RP2012, and have spoke on his behalf to turn people to the cause of liberty and been a supporter since 2007 and would really like to see him. For me this sucks, and I know this isnt just about Ron but why would you not speak at a festival in honor of and named after yourself?

maybe because he is about to be put into nomination at the RNC (we hope) and the campaign doesn't want him to be seen to be stirring people up right ahead of that, with some of the speakers, I don't know. To be honest, I'm hoping he'll drop by but low key, not announce it much in advance. I wouldn't be surprised, but I also don't know it will happen. Why would you go to Tampa and not be able to see Ron on Sunday night though? Is it far? I assumed it was near the area. I haven't mapped it yet though....

go to both. Paul Festival on Friday and Saturday, Major Rally on Sunday. 8 miles away, 15 minutes. Stay at Tampa Fairgrounds. There is no problem. Major Rally is likely free, but at 11K, it'll sell out.

And just because you decide to name something after somebody else, it doesn't obligate them to attend.

I think there is a lot of people like you that would like to seem him. I got a chance at the Youth for Ron Paul rally for Ron Paul at Berkeley.

I was thinking Ron Paul college rallies and music rallies in general would take place all through the Summer. I didn't think about the college students getting all light weight and taking the Summer off!

Maybe he will show up at PaulFest to hang out a little and take in some of the music.? From here right now doing that seems a little on the risky side. Not that Dr. Paul has anything particular to worry about. It could be better for him to meet in a place where he has some control. From there maybe the Paul Festival will be up and running and a known environment. Besides, who isn't looking forward to jamming their way through a big party?

Is this true?I see Gary Johnson announced in the website (and his presence alone rules out Ron Paul), but Alex Jones and Kokesh are going to be in this too?

I noticed that too. It sure is right there though... and plenty of it.

I didn't really look into it but it seemed pretty straight forward. The other colleges looked to me like the first several months of education would center around learning the ins and outs of finding a place to park.

The only problem is, it is going to be too small. I wonder if that is the biggest they would let the campaign have (since the RNC had 'first option' on all event centers) or if they have a bigger back up if it 'sells out' too early?
