POLITICO -- on Benton's email

I'm pretty unhappy with that myself. We shouldn't have to fight propaganda from the campaign, but whatever. This is far from over, and we're further now than we've ever been.

It isn't just the public perception. I'm wondering if the campaign isn't letting RON think that, so he is more persuaded to ease off. Ron has no, or extremely little, ego in this, he is fighting on for us, to begin with.

In the Marketing and Sales of politics... you never, ever ever ever ever ever ever, admit you will lose, when there's so much to gain. In Vegas, when you're on a roll...

What this does, it gives the corporate media and the opposition months to manipulate the middle/independents/etc towards the GOP/RNC chicanery propaganda that were on the fence or coming aroundd to RP or the Liberty/Freedom movements as well as exposing the Fascist state of media/corporations/government corruption.

You keep it positive, funded, both strategic(delegates) and tactical(grassroots/GOTV, public appearances, town-halls, joint district candidate help) operations active up to the last second.

I don't like the way the communications have come from Camp Revolution... especially a revolution where we are up against a machine full of; lies, racketeering, propaganda, corruption, fraud, graft, & tyranny. Appears the Campaign's WAR ROOM has turned into Romper Room.

PS: WTH is with all the censorship of these threads by mods just because of media propaganda or goofball blunders by campaign leaders/members. They still print their Lies and shit everyday.

I wanted the moneybomb to show that the grass roots is still behind Ron, despite these emails, but Benton is trying to make it impossible to get any credibility out of that for anyone not already watching this carefully. I don't know how it is going to go now.

Would Ron Paul be more encouraged with another million dollar money bomb and getting a dozen or so extra delegates or keeping the revolution alive by winning leadership positions within the GOP? I'm sure he's more excited that the State GOP Chairmen in Alaska and Iowa are Ron Paul supporters.

I understand the enthusiasm people have for Ron Paul and this Presidential election but I'm afraid our efforts right now are not focused on what needs to be done to continue Ron Paul's legacy. We have phone banks set up calling people in CA and TX but if it were me, I would have those phone banks calling Michigan and Washington to get supporters signed up as Precinct People to take over the GOP. One full week's worth of phone banks by our staff in LA would win us Michigan and Washington for the next two years. Instead, we're spending scarce resources to win votes in primaries that will not have a more lasting effect than winning leadership positions in the State GOPs.

IRONY: The Ron Paul campaign forfeiting the Maine platform fight in favor of national delegates, saying that platform is meaningless...then the Ron Paul campaign forfeiting the nomination fight in favor of the national platform.

I've had a few people contact me here in the past twenty-four hours with the same question: "What the hell are we fighting for?"

And anyone still fighting in Texas or California should create a chipin here if they need help, since it appears the money will be better put to use by the grassroots who are getting things done rather than the official campaign that is trying to nominate Rand Paul in 2016 already.
The South Dakota patriots have a ChipIn and are spending it wisely and even have somewhat a shot of winning. I recommend donating to them.

The liberty movement is bigger than this Presidential election. We control the Iowa GOP, Alaska GOP, Nevada GOP, etc... This needs to be duplicated in other states. If you can win 22 out of 25 Maine delegates and the National Committeeman and National Committeewoman positions, why is it not possible to win the Maine GOP Chairman position? Is that not a worthy goal Ron Paul would be proud of?

Its one of those odd times where the soldiers are fighting for something they believe in and actually winning the battles that need to be won; and yet and their efforts are getting spanked by their own leadership.

Jesse Benton must answer the grassroots

What is Benton thinking?! I want a Q&A like Wead did and I want him to answer to the grassroots. He must explain the thoughts behind his actions. Just days ago I was working hard to convince my parents and friends that Ron Paul is still fighting and winning delegates. Now what do I tell them?

Sell them on the issues of liberty. Ron Paul will not be around forever. If we are trying to sell the person, this revolution will end after this year.

Am I the only one who looks at this as deliberate campaign suicide?

How so? Ron Paul will be speaking at the Minnesota and Texas State Conventions and possibly other state conventions as well. He hasn't given up the fight so why is this campaign suicide? Are you suggesting that some people will now decide to not attend the Minnesota and Texas State Conventions because one campaign official says it's unlikely Ron Paul will win the nomination? His chances of winning the nomination have been unlikely since the beginning of the campaign and yet the grassroots has continued fighting.

I didn't say anything about the last email, but this one is salt in the wound for sure...

I mean we all know it's a long shot.. but the campaign isnt suppose to say we can't win, oh btw don't forget the money bomb! I gotta feeling we are gonna be lucky to pull in 250k

what a demoralizing kick in the balls

If you knew it was a longshot, why does it matter what one campaign official says? Words do not change reality. We need to be inspired by Ron's message of liberty, not what his chances of winning the Republican nomination are.

Frankly, every additional delegate gained, they would be announced on the Tampa Convention floor, so well, that's more primetime NATIONAL Media coverage if planned correctly, which we would never get from the Fascist Media Klan if we just sit like good little boys N girls announce and sit down in your floor seats. F that... it needs to communicated in way never imagined on the floor, because you know it's coming from the machine.

I hope a strategy is worked out and real-time operations when RNC convention floor nomination selections/support happens. You know the Majors will censor and go to "whatever" if a plan is not in place to counter.

Let me plug a accurate predication out of my chocolate whizzbang... the states that have Ron Paul delegates and ready to announce on the floor, will be censored by the corporate Fascists, with breaks for commercials, trife interviews, in-house paid pundit diversionary propaganda rhetoric and away from the convention floor of Ron Paul delegates/states.

He said unless something very unusual happens which was the truth a week ago and a month ago. But if we weren't in there fighting to win, if something unusual happened we would not be able to take advantage of it, and meanwhile our greater strength at convention gained through that enthusiasm would make them take us more seriously.

And it really pisses me off that they are letting that 'disruptions were our fault' meme go unchallenged, I feel betrayed on that point, frankly. We have to get the video to Ron about and of the OK convention. Anyone insisting they followed the rules would have 'caused disruption' and their hitting US with no violent response is not OUR fault.

Ron has once again allowed the morons running his campaign to crap all over those of us who went out on a limb for him. That is entirely on Ron.

We go to state conventions and face angry mainstream Republicans week after week, and we get crapped on for being disruptive. Garbage.

And to make it worse, since Ron once again clearly doesn't want to be president, we are offered Rand Paul as our hope for the future. A man who baits gays. A man who panders to the religious bigots on the right. That's awfully thin gruel. But Rand is the reason that Ron is throwing us under the bus. To gain some credibility with the mainstream Republicans for his boy.

Well, F that. He can cram Rand up his behind for all I care. I will remain a Republican because doing anything else is non-productive. But I will not support bigoted, hateful jerks, such as Rand. That is not why I ever got involved in politics.

Ignore the campaign and their requests.

Came back for this. But yes. this. It's obvious that someone/something is putting the heat on the Campaign. However, the campaign knows and expects that we will carry on as usual.

I'm usually at the conventions so I don't see how the media covers it but... do they ever show the delegates announcing their votes? I can't believe that; no one would watch it.
