Political Correctness

It seems to me like a lot of my fellow revolutionaries are liberals. Ron Paul has always said immigration policy is our best way to stop terrorism, and now he repeats it in an ad. Everyone (meaning the PC multicultural liberals) goes apeshit becuz its not politically correct to say Saudi Arabia, where Osama was born and nearly all the 9/11 hijackers originated from and the center for Wahabism, is a terrorist nation. I commend the doctor for making the ad, and would be disappointed if he backed down. This isn't a hippy reunion, we aren't about universal love. RP has always been about tough immigration policies and strong sovereignty. Liberals take ur PC propaganda elsewhere becuz u will hurt us more in a republican primary even than the 9/11 troofers.

Wow, great post from a new member. I couldn't agree more. We must do as Paul does, speak the truth no matter what the consequences. He will not back down, he knows the truth and the price we all will pay should he back down even once.

Welcome!

If by terrorist nations you mean Saudi Arabia, Israel, and the United States, then I might be inclined to agree.

I don't mean the United States. Israel i might give you, but you and i both know that RP was talking about Middle Eastern states with strong Al Qaeda presence.

His immigration policy would probably be very similar for all countries, so who cares if he makes a commercial that may make a couple voters who would otherwise support Romney, Giuliani, or McCain vote for him.

As a side note, I support Israel, I don't want to see the Holy Land divided.

that kind of foreign policy based on religious nonsense will destroy this country. Support Israel becuz Jews are entitled to the "Holy Land"? Rethink ur support for paul, becuz u seem a little like a neoconservative. Anyway, lets not get off on Israel, thats not what the thread is about

I don't care about the commercial as long as he is baiting retarded voters.

However, if he really buys the cheap rhetoric and images used in the ad, then he is no better than Rudy Giuliani.

You sound like a neoconservative, too.

We all know our nation terrorizes and bullies other nations, Duh. Thats why we are thrying to get Ron Paul in the White House.

Actually, no. There is an official State Department list of "state sponsors of terrorism," and the bills on student visas that Dr. Paul has introduced rely on this list.
http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill...bill=h110-3217

At present, this list includes Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria.

But your point about political correctness is well taken! Ron Paul is running for the president of the United States of America, not to be the world's leading globalist.

ok good point. sorry about mixup. i was trying to say he wasn't talking about the US to that idiot who tried to spin it

Exactly. So why is the last ad antithetical to Ron Paul's message?

It's not, He would ensure our safety first and though great foriegn policy the hatred would stop and the door could open up for students. You dont just say "hey dont discriminate against those studenta" and hope that murderous thugs wont come here under the guise of a stundent to murder as many Americans as they can. I DOES NOT MAKE SENSE.

So get rid of all student visas. But don't resort to cheap rhetoric that plays on ignorance.

So what I gather from your statement is getting rid of the visas in nations were terrorist operate freely is OK, but you cant say that in an add.

It's OK to do, but students with visas are not a threat. The ad is pure sensationalist propaganda.

For what reason, to lose with honor, when the stakes are so high? Don't you care about habeas corpus?

Gammage himself learned the hard way not to underestimate Paul, an obstetrician from Brazoria County.

On the morning of the runoff election, Gammage got an early dose of a tactic that, 30 years later, would become known as "swift boating." Gammage says he was jolted out of bed by a radio ad from the Paul campaign that featured a blood-curdling scream.

"The next thing I heard was this sweet girl's little voice saying, 'I hope my daddy and mommy don't vote for Bob Gammage, 'cause he wants to turn the rapists and murders loose to attack us in our beds. I hope my mommy and daddy vote for Ron Paul. He wants to put them in jail where they belong,'" Gammage recalls with a laugh.
