Poke Fox News in the Eye for Ron Paul

Oh yes we do want to be on the Fox News debate!

This forum is all about getting him included in the Fox News Forum of Republican candidates. If you are not working towards this then please post elsewhere!

I must be a lunatic

Whoooa, I only have 19 post, now 20. I must be a Ron Paul Hater.

As for your plan, I have a better plan. Maybe if you took the time to read the discourse on why it would be better to NOT be in the Debate, you might not worry about how many post I have written. Then you might even agree with me. My first reaction for a couple of hours was the same as yours, I was willing to change my mind. How about you?

When you only have 19 posts and you post a disruptive and off-topic thread trying to stop an effort to get Ron Paul into a forum/debate you are obviously a troll.

We are going to do what it takes to get Ron Paul into this forum/debate. The fact of the matter is that the current system sucks but the way it works is that we have to keep Ron Paul in each and every one of these debates. If we miss this debate then a dangerous precedent will be setup.

If you don't like our efforts then please go to another forum.

Alright, look at the forum name and then tell me if I am not discussing the same item. This isn't the "all-people think like crazy poster with RUDE LOUD SCREAMING RED AND BLUE LETTERS forum. This is about discourse about the whole issue, not just yours. If you would take time to read it......oh well, you need to read this article. It fits and is VERY pro-paul

Sorry BigLouie, its really great that you have a grand idea such as you have presented. Unfortunately it is neither realistic nor a good tactical move.

Please dont be disheartned, your resolve and effort to help Dr. Paul are well displayed, PLEASE continue to be creative in thinking up ideas to help the cause!

I only present these challenges to your idea as constructive criticism, please take it as such.

First, your concept requires a competing MSM outlet to host a competing "round table" with candidates who have much less national presence (excluding Dr. Paul) than the othe candidates. Assuming that MSNBC or any other news channel would actually respond to requests from a single candidates supporters to host a debate, the quality of the participants even then would prove too much to swallow Im sure.

I would go on to criticize your other points, but really if you dont even have a plan for getting the above, then there is no point in going further.

One of the main reasons I see getting Ron Paul into the Fox Forum is firstly the format. He would do very well in a conversational round table environment. Secondly is the exposure yet again to a wide audience of undecided or unfriendly voters. We dont need Ron Paul in a friendly forum for just Ron Paul supporters to watch, he needs to go into enemy territory and win battles! Just as we need to go into enemy territory and win battles!

BTW great article on the pigs!

Sorry, I don't agree.

Sorry, I don't agree. Fox will not be a friendly place for a round table discussion, Especially after a good showing in Iowa. Their malice is obvious isn't it? They realize they can just pick Dr. Paul up at the last second if he does well, but their first goal is to wreck his Iowa credentials. Then, they can attack him at the debates if Plan A fails.

The Neo-Cons have a back-up plan, you do not. You are being led like sheep.

The best Idea is to hit them broadside, exclude them after DR. Paul places 2nd or 3rd in Iowa. There was a good post on this by a guy who has 5000+ post on this forum

He Wrote

"I think Fox had higher ratings talking about the simultaneous debate on MSNBC (if I remember that right) than the debate itself had. Also, and I was out of the country that year, didn't Perot basically run for president as a regular guest on Larry King?"

He is right. It did have higher ratings.

This is a much better attack than calling Fox and begging them to PLEASE take him. We sound like children when we beg.
Do you really think you are DEMANDING IT? Get real.
The advertisers KNOW that this kind of controversy MAKES them money, forget wasting time on boycotts. We need to attack, not BEG.
