PLUNGE PROTECTION TEAM question was a HOME RUN !! People will be asking

I really don't think that question was intended to appeal to the average viewer. That question was for all of the msm financially minded big-mouths to get a hold of. That question will lead to not only more interviews, but probably more donations from the financial sector.

ding ding ding ding

Bingo

What do you mean? How will be better informed?

Well, first of all we all need to learn what this team does, which was laid out in the UK story. It is there to prop up our markets when they look like they might plummet. Take this in formation and put it beside the facts of this week where markets around the world plummeted on Monday when ours were closed. Then, by mid week, our markets are climbing by hundreds. So, is this a sign that our gov't is artificially propping up our markets? How far will they go to do this? And when that point is reached, do they just let it crash and watch everyone go down with it?

This information can be used to our advantage to show that Ron Paul knows what he is talking about when it comes to the economy and the others are clueless. So get out there and inform the people.

The question was not intended to win the deabte or Florida.

It was part of RP's long term plan to show McCain out for being unversed in Economic policy.

It is an eye towards Super Tuesday. This will spark debate against McCain.

You could very well be right. Dr. Paul does have a lot of support from rank and file traders on Wall Street. When he was grilling Bernanke the bond traders were cheering him wildly on a cnbc segment. That question may have been aimed directly at the people that work on Wall Street who are fed up with the corruption and back-room good old boy environment they deal with every day.

Thank you for this.

No, most people won't get it. Yes, it make McCain look like a jackass. Yes, it is very serious. Yes, RP said early in the debate, "This is bigger than anyone thinks - this is something different, very different!" Or something to that effect.

Yep.

This was a historic moment. RP didn't do it so that everyone could understand it (or even bother to research it). He did it as an historical act broadcasting for anyone with ears: "I and my supporters know what you're doing and you WILL NOT get away with it!!!"

Thank you Ron Paul!

Yeah, I was disappointed that he asked a question so outside the comprehension of the normal voter. Most voters saw McCain dodging, but it didn't register because they themselves didn't understand the question. I was hoping Dr. Paul would follow it up with an explanation of what it was so people would understand.

Yes, but he wasn't given the chance.

paul could have explained it to us!!! and then ask the question

it all goes back to paul's team not doing their duty to get paul ready to debate!!!

this was a preplanned question and he didnt deliver it!!

total fault of paul's people

wait--- does he even have "people"
seriously- does he have prfessionals helping him to be a better speaker and debator???

maybe not...........

which would be stupid btw...........

He couldn't explain it to the audience without giving McCain a hint. A "well-versed" economist should have been able to understand what Dr. Paul was referencing. McCain wasn't able.

who are these PPT, they will research it and see WOW our markets are being PROPPED UP?

Plus made McCain look like a total jackass!

You assume they will actually research it...lol, that is your flaw. If Americans actually researched the candidates, RP would be in first and the rest would be labeled as "long shots".

He doesn't need "people" to prepare him for debates or as a "speaker", he knew what he was setting McCain up for. I'm not sure he fully expected all of his supporters to understand the question. I think he was aiming that question towards Wall Street and that area. He wanted to call McCain to the carpet on being so well versed on "economics", I think he wanted to get McCain back for saying "Ron...I was there in '83 when blah blah, you there Ron...." Ron decided to make McCain rue that comment.

PPT uses our TAXPAYER money to buy indexes and stock to prop up markets and Further the DEBT!! That is the point.

I bet him and Luskin talked about this and NOW that Luskin is on board I bet he will be on CNBC/Kudlow to talk about this PPT!

Great question!

Plus made McCain look like a total jackass!

I don't think so. People don't research anything generally. However, we can help turn the tables by lucidly explaining who comprises the Working Group on Financial Markets (Plunge Protection Team) and what that group has been doing for decades to adversely affect the balance of financial markets.

Hey everyone, look at the bright side. This is a GREAT issue to write a letter to the editor about!!!

Point out how you thought McCain was a good candidate until he couldn't even answer a question about PPT and with the economy tanking you want a President who fully understands the entire situation.

Be sure to point out that you did your research and found that Ron Paul has served on the House Banking committee, currently serves on the House Financial Services Committee, and the Joint Economic Committee, and has written several books. He is the best candidate in regards to understanding economic policy.

Also toss in that Ron Paul is a doctor so he completely understand how the health care system ACTUALLY works and he is a veteran so he understands military policy.

THIS QUESTION WAS A PERFECT SET UP FOR US TO SEIZE THE POWER OF THE LOCAL PRESS!

Falseflagop-

Actually they just use money the Fed makes out of thin air to prop up the market. They only have to move it enough to panic the shorts who then take over. -300 to +300 in one day? Riiiiight.

I think RP could have used the opportunity to ask a better question but overall not a bad strategy to make McCain look like the economic light weight that he is.
