sounds like a very good idea. i was thinking the same thing since november 08. put the site up and if paul runs again i will give $100 and more if i ever get a job. (was laid off)


paul needs to know about this.

a few weeks ago i sent an email to his texas email urging him to run again and that his support was growing more than ever.

we all need to let him know...email, phone calls. just dont harass him of course. one nice message will do.


and this needs to ba a sticky IMO and copy pasted everywhere on the net.

If we schedule 4-5 huge money bombs I'd max out. Do like $500 a pop.

First day announcement - $500

July 4th money bomb - $500

November 5th - $500

December 16th - $500

and $300 for miscellaneous dates maybe between the official announcement and July.

Make sure the pledge site has a dollar amount indicator, just like the campaign site had on their donations page with a running total.

I'd hitchhike to every event and every rally. Non-stop hippy style living for 2 years until next election if he announces. He might announce this upcoming June/July so he can get a headstart on New Hampshire. Benton announced that they're "seriously" deliberating another run.

Why's that?

1) Because I will not waste my money on a "reluctant" candidate who does not want to campaign as hard as the other candidates. I wasted $2300 on the campaign before I heard Ron admit that he was a "reluctant" candidate. Ron must not be reluctant this time-- Be glad to donate.

2) Given Jesse Benton's alleged performance problems in coordinating media for the campaign, I've decided that I will not contribute to a future campaign if he is involved in it. I'd rather have faith that the campaign is fully competent to work the national media, so I can focus on worthwhile canvassing (i.e. so I do not get the response like I did this time, "who?"). Therefore I'd be glad to donate if he is not involved.
