Beginning Monday, June 10, 2013, investigative journalist Ben Swann will make history launching the largest ever attempt to crowd-source investigative journalism through his “Liberty is Rising, Truth in Media” project on www.Kickstarter.com.

We're just one day in - and at that rate, the project would bring in around $3,375,000.

Of course, it's bound to taper off from $75K/day - especially as the project goal is approached. But still ... not bad at all.

In order to reach the project goal of $1.25 million over 45 days, the average of daily pledges will need to be just over $27,750.00.

I wish there was a more convenient way to do it, but when you're talking about $1.25 million (and apparently Ben not wanting to take our money if the goal isn't met to do this), then I can see why he'd want a secure way of handling that amount of cash.
