Our most honest textbooks on American History have established conclusively, that the greatest mass endeavors to affect political change by the courageous citizens of this country have been accomplished by the enduring tidal waves of LIBERTY LOVING PATRIOTS that have marched on Washington, D.C.! This shall ALWAYS be THE place to make a political statement.

Dear Patriots,
The Ron Paul Montgomery County Meet-Up Group in Rckvile, MD has created an online petition that we will have hand-delivered to Dr. Paul. This petition is a humble plea for Dr. Paul to consider and ratify June 21 as the official date for the DC rally. Please follow this link to this petition, where you may view our reasons for choosing this day. It is truly critical that we establish this official schedule as soon as possible to plan the most professional rally in Monument to freedom
Help make the difference, we need 50,000, not 5,000. The rally in DC is a political half nelson on a corrupt media, forcing someone to say “Hey Mom and Dad, look at all these people in DC. .. Whose RON PAUL?” Exactly what the muppet mass media has been desperately trying to prevent. The media CAN NOT IGNORE 50,000. patriots blocking out the reflecting pool with signs that declare RON PAUL REVOLUTION!
We hope and pray that you’ll join us.
Peace and Freedom

Folks, you don't understand. Dr. Paul has no control over the permit process. A permit applicaiton has to be accepted for that date. We have one in but I was told just today by the permit office not to expect an answer until the middle of next week. And btw, they've been stringing me along for two weeks now. The reason is because they have over 900 applications to process. It's a first come, first served deal.
