Josh Lowry is still recovering from his stint with the MCP......no wonder he ended up at RPF.

There is a sequel coming soon which I am ... cautiously optimistic about.

Tron itself suffers mostly from very dated special effects and terminology, but it has some nice observations on politics, religion, freedom of information, freedom in general, morality, and any number of other subjects. Not bad for being an almost disposable '80s movie.

Earth vs. the Spider, on the other hand, teaches us the evils of Rock & Roll music!

I went through a phase where I was addicted to old movies from the 80s and beyond. Seemed like a magical time. I hope I am wrong but I don't think the New Tron will bring the heart of the original kitsch.
