I agree with the OP on pretty much all points. In 2007 we didn't use Facebook, and the pledges were $100, not 20.12 or whatever.
The oath to defenf the Constitution is very powerful, and ties into Ron Paul's message very well.
I think of Nov. 11th as Armistice Day, when the madness of WWI (the "war to end all wars") finally stopped.
