How has this guy not won a state?? He's only polling around 10-12% nationally, written off by the media and the party, yet he STILL gets thousands of people to show up to his speeches regularly. <---- Frustrated

It doesnt really make sense to me either.

that is polling of GOP ONLY not independents where he does better than any other candidate GOP OR Dem, and not Democrats. There are more independents in this country than Republicans they are just effectively disenfranchised by the two party primary system and party control of debates and ballot access.

How is it looking for us in Illinois, to anyone on the ground? I was just reading the Illinois primary rules on The Green Papers and they look ridiculously odd. For instance delegates are voted for directly and separately from candidates and while they put forwards a preferred nominee they are apparently not bound to them. Very odd.
