Realized I'd forgotten to post my photos here from the event this past weekend in Fullerton, California, that was hosted by Young Americans for Liberty. The State Convention hosted many speakers, including John Tate and Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, as well as Ron Paul, who Skyped into the conference to tell students and activists about his new projects and to take some questions.

According to YAL, there were more than 200 students in attendance, the largest state convention so far. It was great to see some familiar faces, and to meet some new ones. I'm not sure if they will be posting the Skype with Ron Paul online.

You can find more than 90 photos from the event here.

Thank you!

I will go into some further detail about the convention, and possibly post a short video from John Tate's speech when I am home in about half an hour.

Here is the video I mentioned. John Tate talks about Trigve Olson (the first part in the video, he is talking about him being from the establishment), Ron's relationship with Romney, delegates at RNC, etc. You may have to turn up your volume a little bit.

Also, during Congressman Dana Rohrabacher's speech, one of the questioners cursed at him in response to his answer which he deemed to be interventionist. The questioner stated "Not in my name, not in my f****** name," to the surprise of the Congressman, and drew groans from the rest of the audience. Definitely very awkward.

Event was great.

Getting a glimpse into Tates' political career and his thought process was definitely interesting and had everyone's attention.

If anybody was curious why the guy was wearing a guy fawkes mask, he said it brings attention to his cause, which is running for governor of California.

Also, YAL's official attendance number was 241, which is the record for highest attended yal state convention.

Didn't know you were there eleganz, or else I would've said hello. I also found it interesting the guy that introduced himself in the ice breaker as running for President and then left.

John Tate... not a good feeling about him. Seems to me he's leeching off C4L and making the organization pretty much meaningless. He's like Benton

You Rock, Gage.

It's soooo great that you are creating a record of Ron's journey - for all of us, and for posterity.

Well done.

p.s. Please make backups and store them somewhere secure. I hear gold-covered CD's are the best and last the longest.

Hey eleganz, I was so bummed to miss this! Frank invited me but I was out of town that day, already had my plans months ago and wasn't anything I could change. I've been meaning to check out your vid(s?) of it and keep getting sidetracked with all this conspiracy stuff and whatever... LOL
