The protester was a man. One person in the crowd took his sign and ripped it up. Another person took his hat and threw it. After the guy lost his hat, he took his friend's hat and wore it.
Could they not have just ignored the ignorance? Maybe try to explain a few of Ron Paul stances? No, "we" resort to ripping up their sign and taking their hat. Very lucky the media isn't having a field day with this. AS if Ron Paul would approve the use of force against a couple of misinformed peaceful protesters.
