I respect your opinion. I do, however, feel that this would not be a waste of time as the disruption of their business could be enough to get RP into the debate. His absence will be very detrimental to his candidacy because sadly, there are a great many Americans who think that, if they don't see him in the debate, then he must "not have a chance". I just spent three days with my own mother who kept making that argument. "I never see him on TV, so he doesn't have a chance." she stubbornly repeated.

no problem, I understand and support the idea, i just won't be doing it. I have called and emailed the local affiliates, called and emailed several national advertisers, called and emailed the corporate office, digg-dugged and commented several articles, found Chris Wallace's email address.
Now I am off to "preach the Ron Paul gospel" at a big Saturday night Football party where I am well know for my hatred of everything commercial on the TV including news.
I would suggest going out to sports bars and getting the drunk sports fans (who are dying to see the Pats win or lose tonight) riled up over this media conspiracy.
Have fun shutting down the Fox phones lines! I know you will pull it off!
FWIW, my dad is the same way about the media. Say RP has no chance cause he isn't getting covered. I just told my dad, Look, how did presidents get elected before TV and radio was around? that stopped that argument cold. Of course my dad knows why I threw my tv down a flight of stairs some 5 years ago soo...
