If you haven't heard, Phone From Home is how we won Louisiana! It's how we pulled delegates out of Rhode Island. It's absolutely critical to our success and victory!

In hopes to spur our immense supporter base to become more active in the campaign, we need to hold a Phone From Home PHONE BOMB!!! In which we all get together and spend the day calling into these crucial states, contacting Ron Paul supporters, and getting them registered and knowledgeable about their upcoming primaries/conventions! **Upvote and comment to pledge your participation!!!!** On the day of the phone bomb, there will be both an official r/ronpaul thread and a gmail chat room in which we can all share our successes, our difficulties, and brainstorm on how to get the most people out to the polls to vote for Ron Paul as possible.

You've all been waiting for something tangible to do to jumpstart this campaign, especially after our recent victories in Maine, Nevada, Virgina, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Oklahoma and around the nation. THIS. IS. IT. Phone banking is key to getting supporters to the polls! We can win this! But it takes EFFORT. However, it doesn't take hardwork! All it takes is some dedication of time, namely the time you spend browsing other Ron Paul news. Instead, spend that time on this project and make a HUGE difference in the future of the campaign!

Alright guys, I know this is an idea that's floated around on RPF for awhile, and now we're implementing it. No more messing around! This is in conjunction with Reddit/ronpaul. Go to the thread and upvote and comment to pledge your support to phone from home in a phone bomb next Monday, May 14th! Those close with the campaign know that this is without a doubt the path to our success. If we can get thousands of supporters all phone banking at a single time, rather than simply checking forum updates like I know we all do, we can make a ridiculous amount of difference! We can set this campaign on the track to the nomination!

We need everyone to promote this with their local grassroots! We have tons of experienced phone bankers who have no direction. Not only will this event hopefully give us an amazing day of outreach, we'll also have trained tons of supporters in phone banking and basic activism. Here is what I posted in my local grassroots group (300+ members):

We're experiencing astounding success everywhere from Maine to Nevada to Oklahoma to Virginia, mostly due to the incredible passion and knowhow our brilliant local grassroots organizations contribute to the campaign. As you all know, phone banking won us St. Charles County and has given us a chance to win Missouri for Ron Paul. Now, I am working with Reddit/ronpaul and RonPaulForums members to translate our massive online support into tangible campaign organization. How are we doing this?

Next Monday Ron Paul supporters from around the country are going to phone bank together, using Phone From Home, making calls into Texas and California, doing exactly what we did in St. Charles to get us the clean sweep. Our organization threads immediately shot to the top 2 spots on the Ron Paul reddit page, which has over 20,000 subscribers. We've acquired a chat server where we will all meet and share while we Phone From Home. This is happening!

I know we fought hard here in Missouri, and some of us may be dismayed by Romney's "presumptive nominee" status, but this has actually given us a miraculous chance to take advantage of the low turn out, our recent wins, and the fire in our hearts for liberty to keep fighting for what we know is right. *What we need most right now are supporters like you who know the ropes and can help out those who have never made calls before!*

I wanted to find a phone from home thread to post this story in, didn't want to start a new thread. These are some astonishing numbers from Maine. How many calls is someone getting? How's the system working? Now, we just won there. So it is impossible to argue that what happened there was a fail, however, it could be possible, maybe, to tweak it a little bit?

I keep reading about this call for unity. It should have stuck to the State Convention. My parents received 32 phone calls between Friday night and Saturday afternoon about just showing up to the State Convention in support of Ron Paul. My father was polite the first the few times and had explained he had just had surgery and would not be going anywhere. This did not stop them, they kept it up. He stopped answering the phone and started letting the machine get it and received 28 messages. He told me later that at one time he would have voted Ron Paul, but there is no way I am going to be beaten down by some election camp who has nothing better to do when they should be at the state convention. I told him that they were probably calling from out of state.

Funny thing is, this was not an isolated incident. My in-laws received 48 calls and stopped answering after the 4th call and had 44 messages. They, too, were Ron Paul supporters, but are now very very anoid. They don't know who they will be voting for in the primary, but have said ... it won't be Ron Paul. My mother-in-law said she is not a supporter of Mitt Romney, but after this weekend there is no way she will vote for Ron Paul. Badgering the American Voters is not the way to win my vote is what she said. She added that she and my father-in-law will probably will probably skip the primary vote. I told her that would make no difference because we are voting on local issues, state office issues, and US office issues, not presidential ones.

I have read on more than a few occasions about becoming a primary state instead of staying a caucus state. I really am now wondering if this is the way to go. Will it have stopped incidents like the ones above, I doubt it. As I told my parents and my in-laws...just unplug the phones and use your cell phones for the day there are only a few people that know those numbers.

This needs to, must change! This isn't just about Phone From Home. It's about setting the precedent for organizing our online support to actually do something tangible to help us win. Otherwise it's a waste! If this takes off, we are planning to set people on different tasks, like searching through Facebook for Ron Paul likes and pages, grassroots. Strategic emailing...whatever it is. But we have to set the precedent first.
