Phone blitz is ON!!!

About to start. Curious what numbers everyone is calling...just want to spread the love around a little.;)

I have gotten through to really nice ladies all day and they all have the same response, "we haven't changed our position as of this morning".

I have been faxing them a really cute note too, so who knows...

Busy phones

In the last two hours, I've only been able to get two calls through - all other attempts got busy signals. Either we are tying up their phones or they put them all off the hook! In either case, I'd say that's a victory... the phone blitz is working!

Bill O'reilly's number has been good, and Schmidt has been good...

One said he would voice my concern to his superior.

I've been asking them to do whatever they can to influence the decision.

My concern over all this "phone-blitzing" is that RP supporters are phone-blitzing the wrong people. Shouldn't we be calling voters in Iowa instead?

I've been calling these numbers and leaving messages. Bill O's secretary's just automatically send me to an automated service. I don't think that this phone blitzing can hurt us as long as we don' lose focus on Iowa. I don't see much that I can do personally to help in Iowa so getting Ron Paul an hour and a half of free national television time is what I am focusing my attention on.

I just spoke to John Moody for a couple of minutes. According to him the decision to exclude Ron Paul is that they are only letting candidates who have polled in the top 10% nationally. He refused to budge on the issue and referred to those calling him as "Loony Paulites." He is reading our forums and is aware of our organized phone blitz. I asked him if Ron Paul does surprisingly well in Iowa if Fox would reconsider their decision. His response was only if his national poll numbers rose above 10%. I forgot to bring up the NHGOP's condemnation of Fox News so perhaps the next person who calls can bring that up.

I'll be glad to answer any questions about the call because I probably forgot to mention a few things.

No, they have been phone blitzed to death. Another thread begged us to STOP calling them. At this point the calls are doing more harm than good.

With about 85% http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=68161 of this forum's participants in favor of a phone blitz on Fox News, the BLITZ IS ON! The only thing that will preclude the blitz is if Fox News announces that Ron Paul will be included in the 1/6/08 forum.

Here's how the blitz will work: Calls should be made between 8:00 am - 8:00 pm EST on 1/2, 1/3, and 1/4. If you get a busy signal, try another number from the list below. Let them know how you feel about Fox excluding Ron Paul from the 1/6 candidate forum. Be polite, professional, but assertive. (My thanks to liberty_Forever for the contact info!). The more calls made, the more successful the blitz will be. Our goal is that the people on the list below won't be able to pick up their phone without a Ron Paul supporter being on the other end.

Awesome...if Moody's in the office, I wouldn't mind sharing my thoughts with him.
