I also posted this in the Peter Schiff forum, so sorry about the dupe posts. Schiff just sent out this email -

"I just wanted to let you know that I am now able to take online donations on my website www.schiffforsenate.com.

My decision to run is largely dependent on the level of early support and contributions I receive from people like you. I have commissioned polling that shows this to be a winnable race and I am ready to make the personal and financial sacrifice to run, but now it's up to the people to show their support because no candidate can win this race alone. Over the next several weeks we will be taking contributions at my website www.schiffforsenate.com, and weighing the public support for my candidacy. If the support is there, I will answer the call. However, if the public sentiment for my run is not there, I will return the contributions.

Donated earlier today when the message was sent.

Anybody know if there is a way to track donation totals or when they'll be available?
 
Ok Ill drop some now, but we definitely need a meter of some sort, and some clear cut fundraising goals. The way Rand Paul is doing it. People will help Schiff, but we need to know how much he needs.

I will donate more or less depending on the money needed and how the donations are progressing.
 
I will be donating $100 this Friday, and there after...
When I'm old, or my great grand children can look back and see that I stood on the
right side I'll be happy..
 
Everyone should call in on the radio show tomorrow night and tell him that we are supporting him, and we want a fundraising meter like Rand and the other liberty candidates.
 
He'll need to work on his social skills if he wants to schmooze the CT donors.
 
Nah, no shmoozing. Schiff* needs to just keep on being Schiff*.

This is a really good strategy. This totally gives people the ability to show they will donate minus the risk of a dud campaign, so we will see the real potential of the campaign.
